A classic old-world style sports bar/saloon. Big, dark wood bar, lots of taps with a good variety. Food is relatively cheap, excellent and plentiful. And a handful of big screens if you want to catch whatever game is on.

I’d say the best thing about this place is the ambiance. Really cool old school dark wooden bar on main street in Stillwater. Beer selection is very good. They have a permanent looking European beer menu hanging from the ceiling that features the likes of Duvel, and then a chalkboard menu of mostly U.S. craft beers. Had my first two Joseph Wolf beers here, in 750ml bottles. Service is local, friendly and great. The only thing that would make this place better is if they had outside seating, but a really fun place to go.

Really cool beer bar in Stillwater, MN. Nice tap list with lots of goodies. Interestingly enough - no Lift Bridge or Staples Mill beers today, even though both are brewed in Stillwater. Go figure.

Awesome bar in Stillwater that we went to so that we could try Lift Bridge beer. The tap selection was pretty special as they have Surly, Bells, Triple Karmeliet, Lift Bridge, and the Schells Aniversary series (many more). The service was friendly and the place had old character as most of the buildings in the founding town of Minnesota. Stop here if going to Hudson to buy Sconnie beers.
