Ambiance is laid-back sushi joint. Clean but unimpressive dining room, cozy bar and nice outside patio for dining on nice days. Service was SLOW. It took our waiter around twenty minutes to take our order, and she said our selections were good (they were not). Selection of food was solid (sushi and other options aplenty) but this is a beer site, so as far as beer goes, a small menu of nice craft selections (import and export well balanced). The website has a "libations" menu if you would like to see more listings. Also some decent sakes on hand. Food was pretty bad. The sushi we had was flavorless or incredibly spicy. Kids options are limited. Food was waaaaay too pricey for the lack of quality (48 dollars for myself, my wife and toddler son) but the beers were very well priced (topped out around 6.50). This place needs a new chef and needs to get over itself. Just because you are on Frankfort Ave. doesn’t mean your stuff doesn’t stink, because as of right now, it definitely does.
