Wjhat a cool place looks like nothing when you walk in but what a beautiful brew pub. Elegant counter tops and design. Even the lighting is unique. Bunch of their beers available in full glasses or as a flight. You can see the entire brewery from a glass window above. The beers are amazing, some of the best I have had and you can get them to go.

Stopped in for a visit over the summer. The tasting room is very austere, but well laid out. A nice bar area with tables for relaxing. Quite a few of their brews available on tap, and full bottles for sale. A large window overlooks the brewery below. Their beers make this a must stop!

Amazing beers, knowledgable friendly attentive staff, clean austere layout. You get the sense that "keep it simple, let quality speak for itself" is the reigning philosophy here, from the white wooden structure through o the beer that they serve. And it works! Absolutely exceptional beers, a must visit.

Another great brewery to visit in the area. Maine Beer Company usually has about 8 taps on and serves them all up for $18. Great way to try their numerous delicious pale ales fresh as can be. I, for one, didnít realize their beers were so good before visiting this place. Nice.

We stopped in on our way out of Maine after failing everywhere else to get a bottle of Lunch. Luckily they had some (which had been bottled a day or two earlier) and I went home happy. There were several beer on tap in a nice draft room with windows that overlooked the brewery/warehouse/shipping dock(?) and the guy who helped me was pleasant and enthusiastic. Only one of the tap beers was one I couldnít find in bottles elsewhere in Maine and the family was waiting in the car, so I scored a few bottles of Lunch and a lovely Maine Beer (Do Whatís Right) glass that I have enjoyed eve since. Definitely worth a stop and I wish it was just down the road from my place.

Modest looking building from the outside and the interior is equally minimalistic. That said, the interior is all new materials with nice wood and stone choices throughout and large glass windows showing off the brewing equipment. Place was crowded with only a single person behind the bar. Had to wait a while to order, but the guy working was very nice and was doing the best he could to keep up with the demand. Offered full pours along with the chance to sample all 8 taps at a fair price. Large tables to spread out and enjoy the beers along with a stack of games for the group to play while you drink. Well worth the visit.

Maine Beer Company is in an old farmhouse with an immaculate and homey ambiance. They are a green, employee-friendly company with scruples and it shows that they are proud of that fact. Beer is available on premise for $2.50 for small pours and $5.00 for full pours. Bottles are in a cooler for take home purchase. The beer itself is consistently excellent. If you find yourself anywhere near Freeport, do yourself a favor and go here.

A little hard to spot coming from the North/East, there is only that one blue sign in the photo and a large tree is blocking it from that direction. It is across from the Super8 if you are looking for it. Friendly, patient bartender. Good prices, $2.50/5oz of draft, 8 taps, $5 for a Peeper and $6 for all other bottles. Nice granite topped tables and barrels for sampling, view of the whole brewing operation. Clean washrooms. Very busy when I was there in the middle of a Friday afternoon, which is a great sign for them; plates from a number of states and provinces. More parking around back if the lot by the door is full.
