Small tap room featuring 8 beers. They donít have food aside from Pretzels, but those pretzels (and especially the mustard) were damn good. Food truck outside, but didnít get anything. Maine Beer Co. is my favorite brewery so I was very happy. A little sad they didnít have Dinner there, but they produce great stuff. Pretty cool merch as wel.

The beer is obviously awesome, but the actual place is also very nice. A good tap selection and plenty of chilled bottles to go. Excellent pretzels inside and great crepes served in the food truck outside.

I was here during their Dinner release. These was just mere coincidence, as I had no intention of picking up a case of an insanely good, and attempting to fly it back to Seattle. With that, I can say that they did a great job of managing their release. How do I know? I was talking about the process with the guy blocking the front of the building. Basically, they closed off the tasting room during this time, which I thought was a good idea so they could keep the release running smoothly. Anyways, my wife and I ended up killing some time along the coast, and headed back, after the release. The ambiance was decent - very open, airy, and as the rater below me said "farmhousey". Thereís not much going on in here, other than a view to the brewery and people hanging out. Thereís a cooler for to-go bottles. Draughts were fine, as they did have Dinner, on draught, and fuck, that is a mighty good beer, but they didnít have a single thing that I couldnít find in stores, including older bottles of Dinner. Thereís nothing to experience here, and really, itís not in a remote location, so even with a "farmhousey" feel, it just doesnít have a lot of uniqueness. I think this place is rather mediocre, even though their beers are exceptional. This place is worth a stop if, and only if, you have nothing else on your schedule. Otherwise, just enjoy the fresh bottles you can easily find in stores. Oh yes, thereís no food available.

Nice place. Farmhousey vibe in the tasting room with a nice view of the brewery below. Half liter bottles available at solid prices, 5 ounce samples for $2.50 each. Most beers at my visit I had already tried with one pilot batch beer which was pretty solid. Prices OK, plenty of parking and nice staff. These people make great beer. Maybe donít expect a lot of ticks, but still worth a stop.

Great brewery with a fantastic set of flight options. This is a small secret of Maine. Delcious beers. Nice people. Great atmosphere.

No tours or growlers. Extremely clean outside and tasting room. Windows in the tasting from let you see the workings of the brewery. We got the "all-in" flight - 5oz pours of all 8 beers on tap for $18. Sleek, modern style with shirts, hats, glassware, and bottles for sale. The service was exceptional. The woman at the bar played with our kids and set them up with paper and crayons.

I stopped in here the other day on my way back from up there Maine training for work. Great location convenient to 295 just outside of downtown Freeport. Impressive tasting room with a shiny new bar and brewhouse behind glass. Several taps available for enjoying, a cooler full of bottles to go. Chalkboard behind the bar will walk you through the particulars. No growlers or kegs for sale I tried ;) Friendly attentive staff on this moderately busy afternoon. Pricing is a tad better than retail. I would return if ever in the area.

Small taproom with view on the brewery. A bit cold for ambiance, but the beers makes it for that. Nice staff, super efficient. My only down point is the price of the beers to go. Altough quality is there and Iím willing to pay for it normally, 24$ for the equivalent of a six pack (in terms of quantity) of a simple pale ale like a tiny beautiful something, is not something I will do on a regular basis. But the beer is good, yes absolutely...

When I was stationed in Maine, I lived in Yarmouth and just before I got orders to Alaska, Maine Beer Company moved from Portland to Freeport which quickly became a hangout for me. Mmmmm...stellar facility. The rest of this is from notes. Its extremely clean. They take pride in making sure everything is exceptionally clean. The service, no matter on whatever day youíre there. The servers are always cordial and always willing to answer any questions and if they donít know the answer, theyíll be quick to let you know that theyíll try to find an answer for you eventually. The selection, its their brews and nothing there is nowhere close to being bad. The value, with LL Bean just up the road, one could say they could cater to the uppity types, but for the most part, they generally keep the prices down in my opinion. Overall, if youíre in Maine, take the drive/taxi up to Freeport. Please donít miss out on this up and coming brewery.

Very cool place. If you are in the area, it is not to be missed! 8 beers on draft, $2.50 for a 5 oz pour. Super clean, simple and bright place. The only thing missing is a patio to enjoy the nice spring weather.
