Great brewpub , don’t miss to visit this place and enjoy their beers. Probably the best place in Malmö.

Place not far from my hotel. A bit outside of the city center. Old factory building with the chocolate factory next door that is also worth the visit. Place was empty both times with just a few tables enjoying the sun outside.
Got to try a sampler of all 9 beers. Some decent beers and some others that could use some improvement. Sadly, Tomas, the brewer, was not around. Would have been great to ask more questions. Food was ok, with once again a British style food fare. Had the nachos and the Cesar salad. I guess I am used to US portions, but these were small for the price they ask.
Enjoyed by time there but much prefer their new pub Hamnmästaren near central station.

Malmös very own brewpub. Good selection of their own beers (which nowadays are DELICIOUS since the new brewmaster begun brewing there) and usually one or two guest taps. Very cool and old premises. A definite visit if you’re in Malmö.

Visited on October 18, 2013.
Got to visit before actual opening hours and take a tour of the brewery as well as parts of the building.
Sat down with the brewer and chatted about the brew setup, the beers etc.
Visible brewery setup inside the lower floor of the brewpub. The lower floor feels a bit dark and narrow, sort of like a smallish English pub. Upstairs is more open and light, more like a German beer hall. I think they don’t open upstairs until the lower floor is actually filled.
Later on when they opened sat upstairs, sampled some of the beers and had some food. Great place, very nice attentive service, more than decent food, plenty of self made beers, I will for sure go back if and when I’m in Malmö again.

Very nice place, calm and fairly quit when I visited fall 2012. Own beer on tap and bottle (which are great) plus the option to buy 4 samples/100 kr, which is good. Staff was ok.

Malmo Brygghus was started last year, producing chocolate and bread as well as beer. It’s housed in an interesting building – an old chocolate factory and, once you know this, you can practically smell the chocolate oozing from the bricks. In keeping with the chocolate theme, one of the regular draft beers is a tasty Cocoa Porter. There are a few other house brews, which I think included a summer ale, and one or two guest beers.
There are a high stools around tables constructed from old barrels in the bar downstairs but the main seating area, with heavy iron tables and chairs, is upstairs in a gallery overlooking the gleaming copper brewing kit, which came from Horsens in Denmark. On the next level up there’s a restaurant although burgers are also served in the bar and the gallery. Anders had one before heading off to work and it looked very good.
Overall, the Brygghus is a comfortable as well as stylish place and the service was very friendly.

Located in an old factory this is well worth a visit. It’s a long way from Central station but buses 146 and 150 will take you there.
