After a stroll down from the castle popped in here for a beer. Nice traditional pub with wood panels and lots of little rooms. Pilsner Urquell beer in good form and picked up a special beer here too. Handy as part of a tourist stroll around town.

Excellent tank Urquell place with quick service and very reasonable prices in the middle of the tourist center. The indoors area is a labyrinth of little rooms, while the outside beer garden with really nice in late july.

Regular Urquell Pivnice near the bridge and 50 meters from Lokal. Large, touristy and noizy. Fresh Urquell and nice garden.

Typical, semi-tradional beer-hall and beer-garden in the Mala Strana quarter. The restaurant opened in 2001, but looks quite traditional: vaulted ceilings, ornated with citations and illustrations (by Josef Lada) from the famous "Brave Soldier Švejk " novel, dark furniture; popular with tourists, but also with locals; traditional czech dishes, well kept PU (at merciful prices) fresh from the tank; the beer garden behind a big wall is good for a nice break in summer. Not a must, but still worth a try.
