Time warp pub with a brilliant Victorian tiled decor seemingly unchanged since it opened. This is Marble brewery’s flagship bar which is slightly out from the city centre (but still walkable) so random trade which exemplifies the city centre is low here, nevertheless it can get full at peak times. Excellent for a relaxing drink.

An excellent pub in Manchester’s best beer hunting zone. Large selection with lots of beers I had never heard of and a few interesting bottles. The best way to get Marble beers also. A winning combination really, good location, solid staffing, remarkable selection.

A wonderful pub, the flagship of the Marble Brewery and a must visit place for both the building and the beers.
I’m a big fan of Marble beers. They make some really excellent stuff on a par with the best and, in keeping with this, they have a fantastic brewpub to serve it in. The Marble Arch is a short walk out of town in the wasteland around Rochdale Road but it’s well worth a visit and shouldn’t be missed. Inside, the pub is tiled from floor to ceiling (including the ceiling) in golden coloured glazed brick and there’s a lovely frieze with a grape and vine motif intertwined with words proclaiming the wares of yesteryear - gin, rum, wines, brandies, whiskies, ale, porter and cordials.
It can get rather crowded but can be forgiven this (and you can always decant to the less picturesque room at the back, which may be quieter). Overall, they get a lot right here – about eleven taps, including a couple of guests, excellent gourmet food to go with it (although it’s by no means predominantly an eating place) and good service.

Love it. As soon as I entered I knew this place woulld live up to the name. Not much more I can add that the other reviewers haven’t already said. Great beers in absolutely perfect form...insanely sessionable. The food is excellent, a touch on the pricey side but honestly worth it. Staff were extremely friendly on out two visits and everyone drinking here was happy. Crackin’ pub. Wish it was my local.

Tried to get here earlier in the day before the National Winter Beer Festival opened but unfortunately it didn’t open itself until 12:00 noon on a Saturday. Finally managed to get here early evening and stayed for a couple of hours. This pub has got just about everything the beer selection approx’ 6-8 handpumps with about 5 from their own brewery and then some beers from micro’s Salopian and Leyden were amongst the others on show when I visited, both were very good, the Marble Ginger was an absolute cracker. The interior of this pub is worth a visit in itself, stunning tilework on the walls and ceiling along with some amazing mosiac work on the floor. This pub has got to be amongst my favourite pubs now, loved it! Even the food which I never had (but Craig and family did) looked and was fantastic so I’m told. This pub is a classic.

A beautiful old pub that serves great beers and great food as well. I liked their beers a lot, and there was a pretty good selection of them. Go for one of their meat pies.

Looks very nice, like a sample of English Inn. Mainly Marble ales in cask + some visiting brews. Good selection. Biergarten quite simple looking. Quite pleasant place.

A friendly, medium sized brewpub with stylish Victorian exterior and interior. Good range of their own beers on cask and bottles, including vintage bottled ales to take away. Service minded and knowledgeable barmaids. Laidback mood. A must-visit pub, but maybe slightly overrated (visited, 05.07.2012).

The Marble Arch Inn has a great balance between traditional pub and contemporary beer selection. At the front is a well-kept traditional bar area, then there is a more contemporary dining room past the bar and a decent-sized patio at the back. When we visited they had a rather impressive selection of Marble and some guests (such as Emelisse and Raw) on cask, keg and bottle. There was also a lot of interesting collab brews on with Magic Rock, Quantum and Emelisse. Draft beers are available to take away in cartons. Prices seemed pretty cheap and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A great place all-round!

Classic old pub with ornate tiling, in a rather desolate area, but close to plenty of other top scooping pubs in the "Northern Quarter". Home of the excellent Marble Brewery. The food is very decent too. Not to be missed. Can get very busy though, and the layout of the place is not very crowd-friendly.
