Comments: This is known as ice cider heaven and it is. Separated into two stores, one has the license to sell liquor, wine, and ice cider. The other has the cheese, meat, and beer. Ice cider section has nearly every Quebec ice cider, probably close to 40-50 including the only account for very rare ice ciders like Philion Gaia and Friga, Domaine Salamandres. In the beer section, they have the whole portfolio of probably a dozen Quebecois breweries including Trou du Diable and Dieu du Ciel. Found La Castor Yakima IPA here easily. Some people on staff were snotty, but others were very nice and helpful. Inside the ice cider section they have a couple of ice ciders you can try for free. Can easily spend $200+ at this store so get ready.

Visited in 2014 with Andrew, PJ, Brendan, Ricky and Streets. Nice little boutique store within a store. The ice cider selection is worth checking out. Dropped $250 here easily, and had to hold back from spending more. They had samples of ice cider and wine while we were there. Friendly staff (atleast in the ice cider selection). Plan to check out again in 2015.

Clean well-laid out upscale artisanal food store. Service is very friendly without being intrusive, and sometimes quite knowledgeable. If you’re looking for beer only, you likely won’t find anything here that you can’t find at any of the other beer shops listed. In fact their beer selection may be somehwta weaker. That being said, you’ve not come here for the beer. Ciders and meads galore. There musts be 75-100 differents kinds ata ny given time as well as plenty of local small production wines, maple liqueurs and other craft-made beverages from all around Quebec. Small but nice cheese counter (although there is an excellent cheese shop just the other side of the market), some game, marmalades, jams, mustards, oils, chocolates - lots of gourmet treats... Hard to say it’s essential for a beer lover, but if you like to experiment with ciders, meads of other craftmade food and beverages, you will not find a better spot than this.

Absolutely astounding selection of ciders and meads; if Quebec is not the center of the universe for these libations, my mouth waters to wonder where it could be topped. Excellent selection of beer as well, pleasant staff and lovely environment. I will be stopping here often!

pretty good bottle shop, but another bottle shop opened up not too long ago a few doors down, which has a lot more (local) variety. it’s mainly quebecoise beers. really good mead, hydromel and maple liquor selections.

Nice little shop right across from the Marche Jean Talon market. Great selection of high quality meats and cheese and everything else you would expect from a nice delicatessen market. Decent local quebec beer selection and even better local wines and ciders. Service was a bit spotty but ended up being helpful in the end.

Wow - Did I really walk-in and they were hosting a cider tasting between La Face Cachee and Delavoie Poitevin? Nice free samples of Ace, Neige and Eternelle. The Pinnacle Sparkling Ice Cider is $6 ($3 cheaper + $3 coupon) less than the SAQ at Atwater Market. I love this place and will return in the coming month.

Very nice store when looking for local meads and ciders (maybe 30 of each) not available at the SAQ. 2 min walk from the best cheese store in town (fromagerie hamel). Local microbrews well represented.
