Ambiente tipico da pub londinese, non male ma molto affollato. La selezione non è il massimo e affianco a ottime real ales inglesi si trovano lager da supermercato. I ragazzi al bancone non mi sono sembrati troppo preparati ma comunque molto gentili. In generale non male ma in quella zona c’è molto di meglio.

Small tight pub but great on Fridays for the crowd and patrons. Great and varied selection of well kept ales which makes it a must. Service can be hard to get but merely because of the crowds because the staff is very attentive when it becomes your turn. One of my top 5 pubs in London

Very pleasant place i just found by accident. Had to walk around the block because a filmcrew, and there it was! good selection, about ten cask beers, (harveys bitter as the main beer) and a few kegs too. Didn’t have a look at them, it where three Meantime Brews i believe. helpfull staff and helpfull regulars. I’ll be back today.

A very good example of an English pub. Always loads of people with a good selection of ales and ciders. Go around lunch if you don’t like crowds, anytime else if you don’t mind them. If around Borough Market, I would recommend this over other pubs in the area.

My first real pub stop in London & somewhere I pop into if I’m in the area. A good range of cask UK scoops, though I have had a couple that were beyond their best but still drinkable. From my experience, it can get quite crowded around ’leaving off’ time but there are plenty of seats & during the summer it’s fine to stand outside & enjoy the rare rays of sun. Service is efficient & friendly with pricing beind acceptable for the area. A fair interior if that’s your thing, closer to a ’trad pub’ than other places thereabouts.

Large beer range and normally in condition. Meantime beers as well as the 10 or so real ales. If you can’t fit in the pub you can always spill onto the pavement outside. A must visit.

Great ever changing selection of cask ales, reasonable prices and good service. Only let down is that the place lacks any type of atmosphere. I’d recommend going on a warm day, and sitting on the kerb outside, particularly when you get the smells coming from the market.

Decent pub with a an awesome location. Nice massive fireplace at the rear and a selection of guest ales as broad as you’ll find anywhere. If there is one failing of the pub its that the beers never tend to have any aroma. Cask ales are not famous for aroma but this place despite having fresh beer doesn’t seem to deliver the goods on aroma. Favourite days of the week to go are Friday and Saturday when the Borough market is jumping.

Great atmosphere and excellent range of beers. Turnover is fast so ales are usually in very good condition. Having said that, I’ve had the odd bad pint which the staff have changed with no drama. Plenty of folk behind the bar so it’s easy to get served, even if rammed.

Nice pub and a must visit once you’ve been strolling around Borough Market, Good selection of cask ales. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is good too. Great to see a pub that looks like a pub.
