It’s nice to have a restaurant in an old brewery, but you have to make sure that the beer is good. We had two different draft beers and both couldn’t make us happy. They seemed to have all kinds of additives to create some sort of taste. We couldn’t figure out what it was they put in it. We were so occupied with the beer that we forgot completely about the food. It must have been good enough, otherwise I would have remembered.

Reasonable pub in mid-town touristy area. Beer was so-so, and bartender, though just after luchtime, had no ideas of the beer. But staff was friendly, and young and assertive. They spend time of the hard stuff and wine, and from what I understand, the restaurant. Reasonable prices for the location. Interesting that they tried a barleywine, but they aim to not offend, as apposed to experimenting here. A bit of room, but felt crowded, even though the place was empty, compared to the Pub Store and 5 Seasons, and even Rock Bottom.

Urban/industrial vibe, high ceilings, lots of metal. Lacking coziness but a decent pit stop.

Well, I might be biased so maybe if i go back i will rerate, but when i was there 2 cars were stolen fro mthe parking lot (not mine thankfully) and their 2 cool brews were tapped out. So.... the ones i had were aight. The atmosphere was pretty sweet and chill and apparently the food rocks but i didnt experience it... word.

Not the best experince of my life. The atmosphere was OK, but the restaurant was virtually empty at 8:00 PM on a Friday night. The food was the best part and it wasn’t exactly outstanding. Our server was friendly, but was not a good server. The check arrived without asking if we were done (or even wanted dessert). I might go back if it is as convenient next time as it was the last time, but I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way.

Ok, so dont drive here, or dont park in their parking lot as 2 cars were jacked the time i was there. All their good beers were tapped out so that sucked. The rest of the selection was nothing special. They did have a cool waffles and chicken place just down the road from it though so that was cool.

Half of this places beers are lagers and the other half are ales. Maybe they ought to stick to root beer because either of the beer styles aren’t very good. Convenient downtown location and decent lunch menu but fuh-get abou-it if you want to park anywhere close.

It has a great... downtown location near the conference center. Thats the mian positive about this place. The ambieance was ’we’re trying so hard to be cool’, but they couldn’t succefuly stick with a themed gimmick well enough to make it remotely work. The beer was average at best. The service was subpar to say the least. The food left a fair amount to be desired. One of the more negative reviews I’ve ever written.

This is not a favorite of mine either. There beers are always really basic. The ambiance is nice, but I am not a big fan of the employees, very commercial.

June 2001. Average brewpub type-place in downtown.
