Stopped in one afternoon for a good lunch of fish and chips which was actually served in a metal bowl lined with newspaper. I love it. The beer was surprisingly good: four regulars and one seasonal. They had a decent variety of other beers, but nothing more stunning than Sierra Nevada.

A large elongated pub with a long bar that has some awkward spacing with the large pillars. Plenty of seating which is nice. Bartenders were friendly and knew a bit about the beer. Selection was pretty solid but not going to find anything off the beaten path here. They do offer samplers Had a pizza which was solid. Prices are a touch heavy. Solid but nothing special.

Decent atmosphere here with the pub feel. Lots of options on build your own flights. Food is excellent. Most staff is knowledgeable. Prices are a bit high - small knock. TVs in the bar.

Dined here on 10/10/11. Ambiance is about average, very dark bar and a standard diniing room which looked like your average family restaurant (where we were seated). Beer selection was great, everything from a few Belgians to a bunch of local microbrews(unfortunately overpriced by a few bucks/glass over other places). Food was above average, McCoy Burger and the Brat Burger are definitely worth ordering. If you’re looking for a good family friendly place with great beer, this is the place to go in St. Louis Park.

Nice upscale atmosphere. Good happy hour, with better than average pizza and other food. Prices are expensive, but there is some good beer. After work the crowd is late 20-30 somethings for happy hour in this upscale setting. It is cool if you live close, but uptown is just a short drive...

If you haven’t been here lately, its time to go back. They’re starting to get a nice selection of Belgians, and run frequent specials (can you say St. Bernardus Abt 12 for $5!).

Stopped by here recently and I knew the name was familiar. Turns out they are a branch of the subpar KC brewpub. Three of the KC brewpub beers they have trucked in were on tap along with a small selection of a few micros. The food was jsut ok. Very strange decorations in this place. I could hardly make my way in the bathroom. I see no reason for anyone to visit, the beer is just ok.

Super bowl Sunday and the place was dead. 12 taps. Four of their beers, standard BMC offerings, boulevard wheat and fat tire. 24 bottles the best being two hearted. Really nothing special. Way better than average bar food. Bartender was pleasant. Other than their house beers not so much of a craft beer destination. I live about a quarter mile away so its a decent spot to visit from time to time but don’t go out of your way.

This is the closest brewpub to the house where my friends live in St Louis Park and I suspect I’ll be back again before too long, but I can’t say I was terribly impressed on one visit. Had three beers (IPA, Oktoberfest & Dry Stout) and all were quite mediocre at best; we had a couple of appetizers that were ok but I don’t think I can rate the food based on that. Not much visual appeal to me -- typical low-end industrial chic, new and shiny but without much real character. Very good, friendly service which is typical (even stereotypical) in the Twin Cities and that certainly helps but on the whole this would not be the first place I’d revisiti in the area.
