Coming to this place from Europe, it is a fun little place and the way that you just walk in get beers out of the fridge or get your growlers plastic growlers filled is different from home - but works great. I was so lucky to pick up their whole line up in one go - a mixed 6-pack of 33 cl bottles and a growler of the ginger beer - nice. Unfortunately the capping of the glass bottles leaked on a few due to the screw bottle top - unfortunately this also had a negative impact on the quality of the beers. Service was perfect on an early Thursday evening. The outlet itself is pretty basic, but with all that is needed. Slightly withdrawn from the road - but that makes for easy parking right in front.

I visited this little microbrewery on my last trip to Dunedin. I’m not sure when it opens, but it closes at 8pm. It is a tiny little corner-store sized place. Really friendly guys. They only sell their own products, and apparently have been in this location doing their thing for 14 years! You’d think that in all that time, they would have worked the kinks out by now! Not really worth going out of your way for, especially with Emerson’s and Green Man in the same town. However, if you do happen to come down this way, Meenan’s liquor store is just across the street and up one block.
