Brewpub in a quiet neighbourhood of Vienna. Old-fashioned interieur with cosy seating. Friendly staff serves delicious beer and good, hearty food. Quite a large selection for a brewpub, all classic styles, no experiments, but well crafted.

Located not very central in the 14th district. The two beers they offer are below average, service and food mediocre. If you are not close by, not worth the visit.

Open since 1989, sits 180 persons. Marzen and Dunkles were pretty good. Gulash was made how it should be: good quality beef cubes that are cooked for a long time. Quick and english speaking service. Nice ambiance. Feels very Viennese.

68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty crowded (almost no place to sit) and busy place on Saturday 8 p.m. (they work from 5 p.m.). One big hall and few other halls full of people (which remind me of several other places in Bamberg which we recently visited) so we had to share table with another couple – didn’t matter since beers were priority. 4 good beers, surprisingly fast and efficient service. Typical Austrian brewpub food and very tasty. A bit out of city center but worth of detour.

66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20
A charming and crowded brewpub located in the 14th district. Even though it’s a bit out of the way, it can be reached relatively easily with public transport (tram number 52 from Westbahnhof or subway U4 to Unter St Veit and then a couple of blocks walk). The house beers in December 2007 were Märzen, Helles, Dunkles, Gemischtes and Weihnachtsbock (also Radler was served). The beers were available to take away too. Almost all customers seemed to be locals. Traditional Austrian food was available. The staff seemed to be very busy, but once they took an order the service was very quick.

Very far from the center and I was biking. But once there, they offered quite a few beers that I have not seen elsewhere. The wooden interior feels old and welcoming, almost cosy, the entrance is nice as well. You should not see any tourists here. They also offer 0,125L samples which is rare.

Traditional style Viennese brewpub. Beers are mild but well made, and the place is cosy.
