72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20
Dedicated free parking. More open (and louder) than other MM I have been to and same colorful ambiance. Service was better than average. Beer selection was slightly below average, but have to commend them for lots of locals. Pricing is reasonable. I would go back.

92 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 19/20
Mellow Mushroom is just one of those cool laid back places, with good pizza and great beer. The service is always ok nothing special but I have never not enjoyed myself here. If you are not to critical of the place and just go to enjoy yourself, that is exactly what you will do. Itís called Mellow Mushroom for a reason, just enjoy it man.

72 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20
(Visited 04/2011 and a few times since): The Columbus areaís second Mellow Mushroom location is is off 161 on Dublin Center Drive. There is a decent sized private lot
The decor is similar to the other location on Polaris. Kind of a mash of a Dead headís bedroom and Chuck E Cheese. It really is kind of odd seeing a bunch of stoner visuals in a place with a ton of kids in it all the time. Anyway the bar area is on the right with table seating on the left part of the building. The bar offers a plain view of the taps, and there are a couple TVs as well.
As for the beer selection, it is pretty similar to the other area location. There are around 30 taps with brewers like Columbus Brewing, Elevator, Bear Republic, Bells, Southern Tier, Founders, and Troegs, plus several macros and imports. The bottled tally is around 40-sih with offerings from 21st Amendment, Bells, GLBC, Thirsty Dog, Ommegang and other domestic microbreweries. Imports are of the standard Dos Equis, Stella and Smithwickís variety.
Service has varied on my visits but overall has been good, especially at the bar where they know the beer and are not attending to tables full of families.
I am a fan of Mellow Mushroomís pizza, but there seem to be a lot of detractors out there. I have always enjoyed the ones I have tried.
Overall this is not a beer destination in and of itself but it is nice to see new places like Mellow Mushroom and BJís opening up in Dublin so there are at least some options.
