Hands down the best MM I have been to. The food is pretty much the same as the others(excellent), it is a chain after all. But the craft beer selection at the Tampa location is awesome. Byron, the beer buyer knows his stuff and they consistently get the good stuff in. 120 min, World Wide Stout, Hopslam are always on tap here as soon as they are released. Great place.

This place has one of the better beer selections in the Tampa Bay area if you are more interested in American Micro’s than a lot of English or German imports. Always some good IPA’s on tap as well as high powered stouts and porters. Pizza is good even if to does take 25 minutes plus to get to your pizza. Service is generally friendly with a laid back attitude. Come in to Mellow Mushroom to get your grub and chug on!

A pretty great place to get a pizza, but there are better originals and independents locally to visit aside this college influenced chain. I think the ambiance is awful (even if you visit one of the ones in a college town where it makes more sense to look like they do), but the pizza is the main draw here. And in the pizza category they win big. The tap selection is usually decent with a mix of light, dark, wheat, pale and red available from reputable micro brews. Service has always been relatively good. Bar staff sometimes ignorant to the beers available. Overall a great place to get a pizza...to go. One of the best place you will find in Tampa for both good beer and good food. Plenty of vegetarian options and taps rotate frequently.

This chain is doing it right, great selection, I think their pizza is way better than Old Chicago. It will take a while to get your pizza but that is just more time to drink beer, so enjoy!

Visited here in late March ’10 in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon. Business was kind of slow so service was great and attentive. Had about 24 on tap - all decent selections and another 50 or so bottles. Their taps appear to rotate often. Had Cigar City on tap and some Rogues, Blue Point, several North Coasts to name a few. Pizza was excellent. Very laid back and friendly staff. Worth a stop if in the North Tampa area.

Good selection of beers, even some kegs that are very limited in release. The overall atmosphere of the place is that of a typical sports bar, nothing too impressive. Sadly enough, some of these places that have good beer quality sometimes tend to have staff that know nothing about what they are serving you. Seeing the Terrapin Oak BHM being served in a frosty mug was not ok with me. Luckily we managed to get other glasses. The food is just nothing too impressive, unless you go for their pizzas. Went once, and not in a rush to get back there. The overall atmosphere and service really doesn’t make up for the lack of knowledge of the staff, that is unless you get the one guy t that places who knows his beers. Sadly for me, he wasn’t working that day.

Mellow is an awesome anti-chain chain. Theirs is the best pizza in the world. This one is probably the best of the four Mellow’s from around Florida. The pizza is the best, bar none, and this Mellow has the best tap and bottle selection. They even serve their DFH Midas in DFH snifters. The pizza, hummus, and othe grub is incredible and this one especially goes out of their way to stock incredible beers. Skip World of Beer and come directly here the next time you’re in the area. It is worth it. They had Terrapin Oak-Aged Big Hoppy Monster the last time I was there.

Visited this establishment on a recent Friday night but we have been patrons since they opened. They have an excellent selection of beer for a pizza joint plus the prices for tap beer are more than reasonable. Nice selection of local, regional, national and international beers on tap including Stoudts, DFH, Dunedin Brewery and many others. Never know what you will find on tap here which keeps us coming back. Last September they actually had Dogfish Head Punkin’ Ale on tap for a few days maybe the only place in Florida to do so. Check this place out when you are in the area.

The best pizza in Tampa. Oh yeah and a great selection of beer too. About 15 on tap with a couple rotating and about 50 or so in the bottle. If you want good pizza and beer check this place out. And its right around the corner from World of Beers.
