The staff was helpful. I found what I was looking for and then some of beer I wanted while in Texas. The BBQ was good and reasonably priced.

For the city they have one of the best selections, but I don’t find myself in Denton much. If I did I’d shop here pretty often I imagine. Staff is clueless, and if prices aren’t marked they are very confused. I bought a Hop Stoopid bomber which is $3.99 everywhere else, and the cashier said "Well, I don’t know what the price is but all those big beers are $8-10 so I’m going to let you have this for $6." I told her it was $4 everywhere but she didn’t believe me. Gave it to me for $4.99 but I still felt a little shafted. Good selection for Denton, above average for the DFW area too. Never eaten here, but I hear it’s decent.

Decent selection for Denton. Seems to lack large format bottles, but plenty of six packs. That said, didn’t see anything that wasn’t down in Dallas, so I didn’t buy anything... Bottles were all over the place, so not well organized. Wine selection looked pretty decent. Didn’t get to try their bbq as we went to Rudy’s a few blocks away. Not bad if you are in the area.

Barbecue/beer and wine store with suprisingly good selection for where it is. You can oftentimes find something here that didnt make it to Dallas. Barbecue is pretty good as well

Great place to stop by for some beer and BBQ. I drove up to Denton because they were holding a 6 of Divine Reserve 8 for me. The staff members were friendly as Hell and were fairly knowledgeable. Had a large selection and they break up any 6 packs. Coolers wrap around the south end and they have bombers in the dining area that are room temperature. Some were very dusty and looked like they had been there for awhile. One thing that bothered me is that they had the top of the racks lined with bottles....in direct sunlight. No protection at all and those bottles are more than likely a skunk bomb. I would travel out of the way to come here, especially for the hot employees.

This store has a great selection and has the local store appeal. It appears to be a hole in the wall but maintains a great image and great service. The bar-b-q is delicious and the beer selection with the meal is of great value - you couldn’t get this anywhere else in Denton.

This is my place of choice in denton. They have a couple of stores also, one that holds wine tastings. I am trying to include beer tastings as well. The BBQ is ok along with the price. Selection is the best in Denton hands down. Service is always friendly and sometimes the owner is there who doesnt mind chatting at all.

I like this place. They have BBQ available and a decient beer selection. The people are very nice and they even have shiner on tap.

Somewhat of a hole in the wall type place, seems to be some attempts at organization. The best beer selection I have ever seen. Quit laughing you should be feeling sorry for me. In the hometown if it aint at Chilies you dont get it. Staff very friendly, but admitted that he was knowlegable about the products when my girlfriend asked about a bottle of arbor mist wine. When im in Denton i will stop in.
