This place has been closed most of the times I’ve stopped here, but when it’s open it’s hard to leave. Selection is fantastic, and quite different from other Belgian stops. Worth going out of your way for.
Very nice bottle shop in a quaint Belgian village. The shop may be small, but packs in many very good beers at very good prices. The service was spectacular, and I suspect the guy speaks at least three languages. A must-stop if you are anywhere close.
35 Km from Orval. Great well selected number of beers. Lots of French and Italian beers. Best of all is the guy in the shop. He speaks English, knows about his beers and are very friendly. Passionate.. Yes. If you are in the area this is a must!
A small shop in a primarily residential area (you’ll wonder if you’re in the right area). Hours a bit limited but once you’re inside, you’ll fully accept the challenges to come here. Has an unbelievable selection of rare and hard to find beers. This is one to put on your route if you’re anywhere nearby. Had to give it tops for value mainly because you would spend 10 times as much in gas and effort to find these beers elsewhere and still probably pay more.
Wow what a find. As all have stated here some very hard beers to find for sure. Most are Belguim. Shop is small but well stocked. Chris was fantastic with helping me out in English with the selections. Another must stop. Ranks right up there with the Bierzwerg, The Wasana’s and Marhun as the best Beer shops in the region. I will be back!!
Stopped here at the beginnen of our euro-trip. Finally made it!! Had (too) high expectations of this place. First of all, compared to the other famous beergeek stores, it’s small, really small. And you probably need a car as well (as most of the other good beer geek shops). The owner was very very friendly and helpful. Absolutly top notch. The selection however was disappointing. Some cool stuff, yes. Well choses, yes. But just insignificant when compared to Geers/DeConinck/DeCaigny... Value was also not that great. DeConinck is better when it comes to prices as well. Overall an OK place, but I can’t see myself put in the effort to visit a second time...
Nice beer shopin Arlon. The owner Chris is awesome, tons of help, he even pulled out some new brews from the back. Reasonable prices on beers from small brewery. Will travel back since I was on a budget.
Wonderful shop hidden away in Arlon. Stacked floor to ceiling with stellar beers from all over, with a focus on Belgians (of course!). Helpful service. Knocked several beers off of my must-have list. This place is a "must go" if you’re in the area.
