This was foreclosed on and is now liquidated, no great loss. their beer was mediocre. I used to look forward to going to MBC as the quality has declined so have my visits. The ipa, stout, and porter were fairly reliable.

Well, first we wound up in the middle of trivia night, which personally was annoying at first but turned out to be a bit entertaining. Anyway, ignoring that, this is a big open bar with a large patio. The actual bar is ten seats at most, but all the tables are high-tops. It wasnít crowded at all, but the service was fairly slow, as the server seemed distracted and seemed to take too much time to socialize (from this observerís biased opinion). A couple minor mistakes in the orders. Food was certainly nothing special; I had the chili, which was decent, and the "chicken sliders," which were overcooked frozen chicken patties, which I guess I should have figured out in advance, with little adornment. The Bavarian Dark was solid, but the RIS seemed very young and alcoholic and was served overflowing with no head. When asked for the IPA, the server warned that it was very young and yeasty, which was nice of her, but of course it begs the question of what it was doing on tap in the first place. Convenient location for travelers. Nice to check a place off my list, but I donít feel a need to return.

MBC continues to grow and their beer is very good. This location feels more like an industrial complex, but itís big and they have a full homebrew store attached to the bar. Great selection of beers, they push the envelope with their styles. Good stuff.

Went here before U2ís East Lansing show. The High Seas IPA, the Grand Cru, and the chocolatly Imperial stout were all fantastic. The wet bean burrito special for $5.99 was excellent. The Bad Ass Kid Rock crap looks like a misadventure in teeny bopper marketing. MBC doesnít need this overrated d-bag to promote their version of Bud Light - will Ted Nugent be promoting a wild game version of Mich Ultra next? Anyway, moronic marketing aside, canít wait until MBC opens the Fenton Fire hall!

Disappointing. Tried several of the beers, and was very unimpressed. So many other Michigan brews are far superior. It really only counted to check off my MI brewery visits. The food is also not very good, seems like they make a lot of stuff that is frozen. I am a fruit wheat beer lover, but the Celis line has never done anything for me. Only stop if you are in the area and want to check it off your list.

Stopped in here when passing through, this place looks like a large manufacturing facility (which it is) with a pub/restaurant attached, there is a patio area to sit outside and enjoy your beer, in the pub, there are coolers with sixers and singles bottles of beer, the bomber bottles had no labels, and there was a sign with the prices of the beer including the Imperial Stout but I could not find any bottles that looked like there were filled with a dark, black beer, I asked is there were any bottles of Impy Stout available and the guy behind the counter said the Impys were kept in back, so, if you do not see Impys in the coolers, ask them to get you some, he brought me my Impy, and away I went very happy with my Michigan brewing Impy. Attached to the pub is a museum like room with brewery artifacts, etc., nice place, wish I had more time to stop in and stay awhile.

This place makes going to Detroit worth the trip. I love stopping here. The beer and food is decent. Itís in the middle of no where, just like I like it. Brewing supply store is well stocked with equipment. I havenít looked close at ingredients available.

Used to be a great place to stop and have a good beer, especially IPA. Too big for his britches with the kid rock beer, wine, distilling, bio fuel etc... Should have stuck to what made it great, the beer. Last 4 visits they had NO bottled IPA or Stout to go. Not acceptable. Quality has suffered greatly.

Very large place that is easy to get to. Thereís a nice, big, outdoor patio that was great for the warm sunny day we were there. Otherwise, the place has a ton of seating but isnít really much to look at. It feels a little industrial and sterile. They have a decent amount of taps and bottles to go. The beer itself is nothing spectacular. They do also have homebrew supplies for sale.
