Nice place in the Reykjavik Center. Great selection of both icelandic micros and imported. Staff is super helpful. This is a must go to place in Reykjavik if your a beer geek.

Awesome, awesome place. Was in Iceland for two weeks on a job and decided to come here on the last night I was in town. So many great beers, and the guys running the place clearly know their shit. I had to get the Tactical Nuclear Penguin because I had wanted to try it forever. I also had a Black Tokyo Horizon. Great place. Wish there were more seats though! Food would be cool. too. We are spoiled with out brewpubs here in the US.

In any European city this selection of beers would be special. In Iceland, 66 degrees north of the equator and on the way to nowhere, and with alcohol taxed into the next century it is absolutely extraordinary. Good Icelandic representation, good information, best place in the nation. (So far.) Part of but unrelated to the City Center Hotel, for those who don’t want a long walk home.

Small place in the main floor of a boutique hotel in downtown Reykjavik, cool modern design elements, comfortable. Excellent tap list of micros only, and even better bottle list filled with carefully chosen quality imports. Pricy bottles, but that’s Iceland so get over it. But by far the reason this place is a clear #1 in my books is the hospitality shown to us by Stein the bartender and Arnie the owner. Their shared passion for craft beer and their incredible generosity and hospitality made our evening truly unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

If you like beer and are in Reykjavik then you need to stop at the micro bar. Great little place, and has a lot of rare brews. Just be prepared to open your wallet, I’m pretty sure I saw a few on the board that were $50. Probably the best selection in Iceland thought.

This was the one bar that everyone recommended we visit. We did so on our first day. We were not disappointed. Steinn our bartender was very helpful. He even set-up a trip to a brewery in Northern Iceland. The selection was excellent. They cater to local brewers across the country and not as much to the larger brewers like Viking Vilifell. He was also available to describe the brewery and the type of beer. This is a highly recommended visit to enjoy the beers of Iceland.

Cozy place, hard to find, located in Austurstrædi. Convinient for me it was about 50 meters from my hotel. Very service minded staff. Nice selection, even if there could be more icelandic beers and less mikkeller/brewdog. Still this is an awsome place with beers i’ve never tasted before. Anchorage Brewing for example. This is the place to visit in Reykjavik. Probably the only place you need if you’re into beer

Definitely the best place in Iceland. However, the prices were astronomical. $35 for a Westy 8 and $45 for a 12. I got a "cheap" local draft for $7.50. Huge selection though. So if you want to drink, go here.

I came here on my first stop of my Icelandic beer tour and wasn’t disappointed. They had eight taps of Icelandic beer, though two were unfortunately out. The bartender, Steiinn, was so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked any more from an Icelandic beer bar.

Best place in Iceland. The local microbrews must be tried, and this is the only place I know of in downtown Reykjavik to do so. It’s also usually stocked with plenty of local people, which is a good sign in a tourist town.
