Visited this little haven in the Arndale centre a couple of times. Beers from Boggart plus guests from the north of England as a rule that are well kept. Good selection of bottles to keep you amused.
Food is available from a myriad of local outlets. Worth the stop and plenty of places nearby too.

Visited on Friday 17th April 2015. I think that I may be going against the grain here, but I wasnít overly impressed with this place. Let me just clarify that statement by stating that it isnít that there is anything necessarily wrong with this place, it is just that I am really surprised that this is in the top 5 in Manchester. Ok on the plus side it is situated in a shopping centre (a very large one at that) and therefore I would imagine for some that it is great to get some respite from shopping by finding that a place like this is on site, however I wasnít shopping and went straight there so not burdened by the shopping issue. It appeared very relaxed and quite casual with a nice mix of clientele, and it is a simple layout. It is situated by the windows that overlook the High Street and tram stops in the food market part of this centre. I wasnít particularly impressed with the beers on offer on tap (maybe I just hit it at the right time, but I saw nothing that interested me) and I was also unimpressed by the bottle selection, ok so that might be me being a bit sniffy, but the bottles seemed to feature too many easily obtainable macro beers and ciders that almost any supermarket would stock. So not a bad place by any stretch of the imagination, it just didnít really offer anything for me and Loz.

Nice little bar in the middle of a shopping center. Selection is not big but there are some cask ales. Nice retreat in the middle of the busy city center.

A great little pub/market stall with an excellent selection of bottles and some draught beers. A great place to hang out at whilst your superior half is shopping!

Called in on an impromptu visit to Manchester. Had a bit of trouble finding the place as itís fairly hidden but once there found it hard not to marvel at the bounty held within. A very impressive selection of lesser known, smaller micro-breweries from Wales and the North in general. Sat at the bar you kind of felt every market should have a little bar like this. Friendly, jocular locals (one in particular was chatting about Jeff Beckís lesser known backstage habits as if he was his best mate).. and a friendly lady behind the tiny bar. One of the bottles I picked to take away was a couple of weeks out of date so they gave it me for free but that was my only complaint really. A great atmosphere compared to the hipster dens nearby and their cringeworthy reggae-pop music (well, the one I went in anyway). Overall, well worth a visit.

Im gonna copy Charlotte on this one Lovely little pub in the HUUUUGE shoppingcenter.. Being a part of the shoppingcenter the openinghours is not what you would expect from a pub, but follows the normal opening hours of the center. Friendly staff, and at most times the beers are in a good condition. But add that something like this is a dlight to find in a shopping centre and even better its often got some great Brodies beers on. I really like this place

Friendly staff, and at most times the beers are in a good condition. They have a nice bottle selection as well.
In 2013 they did their first beerfestival with approx 25 beers on.

Strange little place with a nice selection of beers. Found a nice selection of bottle to take home here and also a nice beer to enjoy with my food from one of the other stalls nearby. Strange, but brilliant. Well worth a visit!

Fine little bar for a stop while you shop. Itís basically a market stall in the indoor market area at the back of the Arndale Shopping Centre. Thereís plenty of other stalls around this one as well as shoppers passing between the seating area and the bar whilst you drink. As a consequence of its location it is a day place only so you get moved on when the centre closes. It also sells a good range of bottled beers and ales from the UK and abroad. Rotates its ales all the time and always has a Boggard Hole Clough ale available given that it is run by the same group. Gift packs are available here too.
