Itís definitely worth making the pilgramage to the south side for this place. 16 beers on tap plus " dusty" bottles from 2007 and later. And bottles to go. And very tasty food. And friendly, efficient, helpful staff. Love it.

Best beer in Alaska, period. Friendly crew at the brewery. Try and stop on a Friday if you want the "tour", but whatever happens, buy their beer!

Busy tap room upstairs. Limited menu. Didnít find a seat but the standing room was okay. Service was funny - one was being weird about samples and the other stepped in to take care of us the rest of the way, which I appreciated. Beers were generally good. Thereís a lot of interesting things here, probably 16 on tap and another 8 in the bottle, so you canít deal with all of it in a single visit. We wish weíd left ourselves time to get into the bottle list.

Totally awesome place a must see and drink. The beers are off the hook perfect. The food is very good and this place can and will get crowded in the evenings. Thursday are Firkin days go at 5pm to see the fool tap the cask and get sprayed.

Glad I got a change to stop here. Friendly and fast service. Good food and great beers. A cooler of beers to go and a huge tap list. Wish I lived closer.

Very ambitious new setup. Tons of taps, bottles, swag, and snacks. A bit too polished for my taste -- almost like theyíre pushing too hard to go commercial -- but the taste level is there and the beer is certainly on point. A bit expensive, too, but definitely worth visiting if youíre in the area.

Great little up and coming brewery located on the outskirts of Anchorage. Gift shop is only open for a few hours during the week - so plan accordingly. Usually have about 6 on tap for sampling or growler filling. You can also bring in your own container - saw a hunting guide come in with 12 empty apple juice bottles to be filled up with their Sockeye IPA to take out to the bush. Also have about five or six bombers on sale. All of their beers are of above average quality and available through most of Alaska and part of the NW. Spoke with the general manager - very friendly and familiar with Ratebeer - even remembered my name when I came in a week later! Stop by if in the Anchorage area.

Update for the new facility. WOW, what an upgrade. Located in an industrial area that can be hard to find the first time. Ambiance is industrial with a sleek, modern, clean look with lots of concrete, brick and steel. Great service, they keep 2-3 people pouring during peak hours. Selection is great, up to 16 beers on tap, 4 sodas and a cooler full of 22oz bombers of core and seasonal beers. You can also get kegs and growlers filled although some of the special beers on tap are "buy the glass only". Value is good. Overall this is a great place. You are limited to 36oz per person to consume on site because of some dumb city or state law.

My friend was getting ready to leave Anchorage after 4 years, so what better way to send him off than dinner at Midnight Sun Brewing Company. The beers were tasty as I have been use to, the selection was superb, and you could purchase beers to go (growlers/bottles). Service was very knowledgeable and eager to help/please. I will definitely be back.

Wow, this place was pretty cool. The restaurant/bar is upstairs. When you first walk in, youíre hit with what appears to be an adjacent tasting room to the brewery. Upon walking up the stairs, youíre hit with a restaurant, and a nice wall of taps straight ahead. My advice, for the travelers that are there to take something home with you, pay attention to little double-door cooler up and to your left, towards the exit door; this little fridge had two 50 oz. bottles of stuff that Iím taking home with me. The tap selection was awesome; there was plenty of stuff that I havenít seen anywhere else, so needless to say, Iím thoroughly impressed. The servers at the bar were prompt, and very kind. The servers for food were not as prompt, but still very nice. The food was pretty good, and this was just a nice place. I didnít notice any televisions, which I like. Just had some great conversation with my co-works. Pretty nice place, and you can tell that the locals love it.
