During my short time living in Copenhagen (August-December 2012) we visited MIkkeller Bar quite a few times...
Wonderful minimalist atmosphere focused on the beer. Great place to meet other geeks.
Fantastisk selection of Mikkeller (of course) but also Evil Twin, Amager Bryghus, and other local beers.
Not the cheapest place, but for what you are getting it is fantastic. They will let you sample a few before pouring a glass.

Friendly staff, great bottle selection, great tap selection and a real fresh place. Reaaly nice yard on the streetwalk to sit and relax in the day. Minus for not finding a bottle i asked for but what is that when its so many nice vintage beers, rares and fresh taps. Ok prices for a norwegian guy :) A must

Me and my girlfriend stayed just 200 meters away so the place was always good for the first and last sip .. Modern and elegant it’s just like one imagine a beerbar in North Europe .. Great selection of their own beer and from others Scandinavian brewery .. I had ( among others ) 8 wired double coffee brown ale from New Zealand ( gorgeous ) .. The staff was friendly and prepared especially 1 guy ( Robin ) ... Prices are high for southerner like us ..

A hit-’n’-run visit on a lovely Thursday evening, just to taste a single beer (Mikkeller Black). This modern beer bar for beer conscious clientele is located on the edge of the chic (former,y red light) district of Copenhagen. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, as befits the place of such reputation and renown. Twenty taps, usually very good American ales. Did not try the food but might do it next time. Procey but okay given the location. Will be back one day to explore the full potential.

A must go while in Copenhagen! Their bottle list is really good and the taps are good too. In case of good weather you can sit outside and it overall a nice place. I think it is just behind Mikkeller & Friends (Stefansgade) but you really should go to both. The location of Viktoriagade is better.

Visited during our trip to Copenhagen in 2012 (from notes). One of the first stops upon entering Copenhagen as it was about a 5 minute walk from our hotel. It was a Friday night so quite busy which was expected. We found a table for the 4 of us and were able to quickly order several beers at the bar. The selection was quite good and the prices affordable especially for Copenhagen. We took a look at the bottle list which was fairly extensive especially with Mikkeller rarities. If you had money to spend, you could get just about any of his rarest bottles and vintages. We enjoyed a Blaeber which quite outstanding. Visited a second time before we left Copenhagen and again similar crowd and atmosphere. A little crowded and cramped feeling at times but a minor knock for an otherwise great beer bar in the heart of Copenhagen. Highly recommended any time you can get close to Denmark.

Nice selection of beers. I really like the tap takeover events. Very nice atmosphere. No food, only a few snacks. Quite expensive

World’s best beer bar?
It probably is, although it’s closest competitor is merely a few blocks away.
A must visit in Copenhagen... even worth going to Copenhagen for!
