Came here on a couple of evenings during CBC. Place was absolutely rammed on both occasions! Guessing and hoping itís a bit more chilled out normally which could lead to some higher scoring. The place itself is pretty small with minimalistic decor and some random furnishings - the drawers attached to the walls to use as tables opitimise this and could be easily described as "Scandanavian" decor if I was looking for a stereotypical simile. The "mikkeller" artwork decortaing the walls is quite interesting though. The beer selection is excellent, 20+ draft taps and a bottle cellar anyone would be proud of. Unfortunately, the prices are up there and even when you take into account you are in Denmark! Definately worth a visit though if in Copenhagen.

Visited multiple times during CBC week. The barís located in a convenient location not far from the center of town. Located in a basement location, itís small but well decorated. The ambience is nice and relaxed. The service is prompt if you actually get to the bar. While I didnít find to much trouble ordering, a friend of mine spent 20 or 30 minutes waiting to get served on Saturday night. Obviously a few more staff wouldnít hurt at peak times. Another friend tried to order a bottle from the cellar and was rebuffed as it was ítoo busyí. The selection is truly fantastic if you ignore the prices. Bottles include vintage Dark Lord, Hill Farmstead, Blabaer, and other rare sours. I enjoyed expensive pours from the likes of Three Floyds, Girardin, and of course Mikkeller while I was there. The food menu is small - just cheese and sausage. It is pretty tasty, though. Overall, a very good bar that Iím sure Iíd visit often if I lived in Denmark. If they hired a few more staff members, this place would be legitimately world class.

Small and crowded. Not much room to get around and quite the cluster at the bar when you finally get there. Service was good and quick though. Prices were a bit steep on some of the offerings. But there was tons to select from. I could go all the time if I lived up there.

We visited on the Wednesday night before CBC and the Sunday night after it, Iím sure this is an entirely different place when itís crowded, but it was chill and mellow for both of our visits. Staff were terrific, and the beer, of course was very good. Pricey, but thatís to be expected. Around CBC, this was the Whoís Who hangout for brewers and beer personalities.

Yes, this place has phenomenal selection, in bottles and on draft. You thought bottles of Hill Farmstead were only available at the brewery? They have about six different HF beers here. The draft selection is great. The prices are pretty high given that most beers come in small (i.e. about a 1/3 of a pint) pours, while the cost stays at about what you would normally pay for a half or even, in some cases, a full pint. The place itself, though, leaves a bit to be desired. Itís pretty small, the limited seating fills up quickly and then there really isnít much room to stand. On a Saturday night (weekend of CBC) they had only three guys working the bar (this might be the max given that the bar is tiny), which resulted in waiting times of 20-30 minutes to get a beer. To me, thatís a pretty bad wait to get a beer. Iím sure that in the afternoon this bar is perfect for sitting and enjoying a beer, but with the nighttime crowds itís intolerable. The bartenders were pleasant, though. I would definitely come back here, but probably never after 6pm or so.

Tiny but pretty little bar right near Copenhagenís central station. Nice layout. I was there after the Sour and Bitter event on May 10th, it was completely packed with about 50 people out on the street drinking beer. It was a very interesting atmosphere. Prices were a bit expensive, but then again everything is in Copenhagen. It was a little too hectic to see any of their rarer bottle selections, but their tap offerings were fine quality (2 cantillons on tap, mikkeller beers and collabs, and beers from other countries as well).

Having spent a few days in Copenhagen and having seen quite a number of bars, Mikkeller really stands out. Not only by design and atmosphere (relaxed yet crowded, inside and outside the bar) but especially by the incredible beer menu (both tap and bottle selection)... This is how the future of craft beer bars looks like!
