The master of cool. What more needs to be said. Finally one can drink beer in a surrounding that is slick, welcoming to women, oozing danish style. Beer bars of the world take note.

The best place in Denmark by far. In my opinion it is clearly one of the 5 best bars in Europe! Many fun beers on tap and a nice bottleshop. I was there during CBC so it was somewhat crowded but the bartenders did a good job solving the problem.

Nice modern style bar. Can get very crowded so can be hard to get a seat. 40 high quality taps with beers from the best brewers around the word, and with a good diversity in styles. Great service with a good knowlegde of the beers they are serving. Prices on par with what to expect for the high standard of beers, and for Copenhagen.

Really nice place. First outdoor serving, then visit in bottle shop, and finally the bar. Really nice selection of beers on tap. High end prices.

Only been here once. Similar to Viktoriagade but with attached shop. Design is not my biggest favourite. Selection is top of course. Service was perhaps a bit better than in Viktoriagade, but I had RBís own bogan duff serving while visiting :) Outside terrace was nice addition. Certainly one place to visit when you are in Copenhagen, although it is slightly off the beaten track.

An absolutely world-class bar. The draft list contains beers from some of planet earthís most acclaimed brewers. And when it comes to the bottle list - well, letís just say that for your health (physical and financial) itís probably best you not look at the bottle list. The prices are standard for Copenhagen. The service is stellar. Not only does the staff know their beer, but they will go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. The food is simple and tasty: cheese, cured meats, etc. As with Mikkeller bar, when this place is busy it can be cramped and take a little time to get a beer, so I would recommend visiting during slower times. But whenever you visit, this place is stunning.

NEW COMMENTS: Iíve visited M+F quite a few times since the opening now and of course on Friday afternoons it gets busy enough for there not to be any seats available for a while but thatís how it is and testimony to a successful concept. Selection is consistently good and with quite a high rotation. Staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable and service-minded. I generally experience quick replies to inquiries by e-mail and telephone. Iíve increased my rating from 90 to 94 because they are now offering growlers where you pay for 4 large pours and get an amount of beer equivalent to 5 large pours. It was quite surreal to be able to bring home a growler of Funky Buddha Maple Bacon Coffee Porter in Copenhagen! The last 6 points will be added when they start offering a decent selection of hot food like f.x. BierCab in Barcelona and make beer available at a wider range of appropriate temperatures. *** Original review dated April 2nd 2013: This place opened only a few weeks ago and Iíve visited twice. The first time was on opening day where I only had one hour and didnít manage to get in because the queue to get free beer was two blocks long. The second time I visited was on a very quiet Tuesday just after Easter when the staff had plenty of time to offer their knowledgeable advice about the impressive selection of beer on offer. I also experienced a great deal of flexibility and servicemindedness in terms of getting samplers of the beer under consideration, getting discounts if a beer was served from the bottom of the keg and getting my credit card stored íon fileí. Other people have already said most of what there is to say about this place. I like the fact that it seems much easier to get a seat here than at the original Mikkeller and of course having twice as many beers on tap and an adjoining bottle shop helps a lot in the overall impression. I couldnít claim to properly review every aspect of this bar as it would necessitate visiting on busier weekend evenings but so far I would say it looks extremely promising.

Unbelievable selection of drafts, 40 taps heavy Danish micros and great beers from around the world. Prices are high butt no higher than elsewhere in Copenhagen. I tried beers from Siren, 8 Wired, Mikkeller. Bartenders are very knowledgable and service is good. The serve chips and sausage/cheese plates. Truly world class selection, great beer bar and worthy of its lofty rating. Attached to bottle shop with equally world class selection of bottles from great breweries around the world.

This is the best small scale bar in the entire world, without question. I went here for a quick drink and to peruse the shop, and I stayed much longer than expected. Itís a deceivingly small place with about 4 different rooms, the main two rooms have about 20 taps each (ie 40 total). I was concerned about price, but it was moderately reasonable, considering the expensive city. You can get 20cl pours served in dessert-like flutes, or a larger 40cl pour. I went with 3 different 20cl pours, and the prices ranged from 30dkk to 50dkk. For the larger pours, itís basically twice the price minus 5dkk. The ambiance was great, considering they were playing the Against Me "Black Crosses" b-sides record on repeat, which was sweet. For the service, Iíll state it with a quick story. It was about 8 pm when I was about to leave, and I asked the bartender if the bottle shop was open. She said "itís closed, but I can take you back there" and left the relatively busy bar to open up the back bottle shop, which was filled with rare Mikkeller brews I canít get in the states, for modest prices. Also - in the main bar I saw a bottle of Dark Lord that was unopened, and Iím sure it was expensive for sale....but I canít find that anywhere in Chicago, so Iím impressed that it was even available in this bar halfway across the world. If I ever make it back here, Iíll make sure to stop by here again, and would strongly encourage anyone visiting Copenhagen who is a craft beer fan to make their way here...itís that good.
