A-- Much more wine oriented I thought. Beer was in the back and a small tasting table also. not a great location in Belmar.
Q-- Good quality products and clean and organized very well. Easy to find stuff.
S-- Andre is the man. Serious props. Very knowledgable and easy to talk to. Then again I have traded with him so a bit biased.
S-- Not a big cool room but WOW. Cuir, Belgian Yeti, 3F, Funkwerks, and a great selection of Belgian and Euro stuff. Most Gueze I have seen in the US in a long time when I have been back. Make a 6 pack was a bit not interesting but made up in CO and other bombers and 750ís.
V-- Good pricing and good products. Quite serious about beer there, though a bit small. highly suggest if in Denver.
very good selection of harder to get beers. Andre the beer manager knows his stuff and brings in some very nice beers. a bit more expensive than other stores but well worth it for the selection. Over all one of my favorite beer stores would highly recommend.
wine / liquor / beer store next to Whole Foods. stopped in on my way to the mountains. good amount of beer in coolers with a walk in bomber section including some nice local CO stuff along with Belgians and other CA, etc stuff. prices seem to be higher than elsewhere. also have some glassware for sale. nice store.
Medium size store with most of their beer in coolers. Quite often they have rare beers I canít find elsewhere. Service is great with a knowledgeable staff. Some times the prices are a bit higher than the big stores but worth checking out.
Store is located in an odd newish development of stores, right under a Wholefoods. Really clean large store. They carry more then the average store. Really nice selection and great walk in cooler. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
This is a good beer store. Nice and clean and right next to a whole foods. Service is good, beer people are knowlegeable and ask if you need help. Selection is a great, and is the selling point. Alot of stores in Denver do well with colorado / US micros so that is not hard to find. This store, however, has a great walk in cooler with very good selection in belgians, lambics, sours. Overall good stuff and very nice selection, will be coming back here.
Mix a sixer was a nice feature, and 6 for $9.99 seemed pretty good. I got a few ODells and Santa Fe. Overall, not a terribly impressive selection, but enough solid beers to get an out of towner by. I did get asked a few times if i needed any help so iíll give service some bumps.
best bomber room in the area IMO. great pricing compared to a lot of the bigger stores in town. also very friendly, and knowledgeable staff there to give great recommendations. will be going here for awhile.
This was the closest store to me living in Lakewood and I can never thank Brad enough for supporting my Habit. All the beer is tucked in the back in cooler doors or in a large walk in. Mile High may not have the size to compete with some of the larger chains but what they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. The Whole Foods on the upper floors made this a one stop trip for me, groceries and beer all in one.
Nestled next to a Whole Foods in the shiny sprawl-a-ganza that is Lakewood - very spacious, clean, well laid out store - a lovely selection of belgians, including quite a few lambics (although Cantillon is depressingly not represented) - the imports seem to be lovingly selected - extensive local and regional micros - stock seems to be fresh and well-rotated - they appear to run sales and be fairly good at moving product to ensure quality - they have quite a few local bottles here that are surprisingly hard to find, such as Dry Dock and Golden City - quite a nice store, but its location will keep me away, as there are plenty of comparable stores that are easier for me to get to - however, they are great about updating their website with new arrivals, which might get me in more often than I normally would.
