They have a lot of beers, all made there, and all on tap. Had the summer sampler and a couple other beers, all were pretty good. The food was excellent, the pulled pork sandwich was stellar. And the food manager there is really awesome. I recommend visiting this place, for sure.
Awesome place to go to on Water Street. Spaceous place. We sat by the window where we could overlook the river. Really good food, and not too expensive. Nice selection of beer, and they were at worst drinkable, and at best damn tasty. Service was really good too. I can’t wait to come back.
A nice place in the third ward, with a great outdoor patio. The beer selection is great, but the food is not exactly worth the price. The only reason I would eat there anymore is if I was looking for a pizza, which is also only average. But if you’re looking for a place with great beer. Look no further.
A nice place in the third ward. Great seating outside over looking the water with a large bar feel in side. Wide range of beers that seem to rotate rather quickly. Food was nice but not outstanding and service was a touch slow. Prices were a touch pricey but it is in an nicer area of Milwaukee.
How you can say anything other than 5 for ambiance is beyond me. There’s an outdoor patio overlooking the river. The inside is upscale, clean, and cozy. Really nice place. Service was excellent. They gave my son crayons, were nice to him, etc. They brought ketchup without us having to ask, and didn’t have it sitting outside in the searing heat. They have their stuff together. His chicken fingers weren’t dry and the dipping sauce was good. My chicken quesadilla was excellent with a phenomenal dipping sauce. Beer selection is limited and beer quality is perhaps only above average, but nevertheless, a must stop when in Milwaukee.

I’ve been to MAH several times now over the course of the past six months or so. I really enjoy the location on the river and the atmosphere of the place in general. They have had a good cover band a few of the times I was there. The food and service have been good the two times I have eaten at MAH. Their beers have been hit or miss. I would not go out of my way to try their beer. However, every once in awhile they will produce a pretty solid seasonal. During happy hour they have $2.50 imperial pints; so no complaints there. Not bad if you want to sit on the riverview patio and a enjoy a locally produced beer. UPDATE: They are making better beers than before. Cool place to bring family that are in town.
This brew pub is well located in Milwaukee’s Third Ward with a large parking garage one half block away. Situated in an older brick warehouse type structure, this brew pub has loads of character and is well decorated. There is a large bar area with room for a band and an equally large restaurant area in the rear which overlooks the Milwaukee River. Our service was prompt and friendly. I tried a Belgium ale called Devils Advocate which made me an advocate of the style and MAH’s brews. Our dinner was very good as well with lots of choices on the menu. A definte must stop if you are in the area.
