Stocks were rather low when we visited but we found some Eindhoven beers we hadnít seen elsewhere. They also had a small selection of other Dutch beers, Belgian beers (including the supposedly elusive and, in my view, overrated Westvleteren 8 and 12) and a few others. The prices were reasonable and the service was very welcoming and friendly.
Just a note on directions as the shop was a little difficult to find. Although the sat. nav. took us to the correct address - a small mall-like area and industrial estate just off the A2 / N2 on the outskirts of Eindhoven Ė it took us a while to spot Mitra. Look out for Nettorama (hard to miss) and youíll find Mitra tucked in at the side, to the right of the front door.

Smaller bottle-shop (beer, wine, spirits) on the edge of town besides a big supermarket mediocre belgian selection, good selection of Dutch seasonals and Dutch micros friendly and helpful staff worth a detour.

This is quite hard to find. Itís just outside of a shopping centre. And it doesnít say Slijterij van Bergen anywhere, only Mitra. But when you find it itís rewarding. Excellent selection of Belgian and Dutch beers. Some rarities included. Some German, American and so on too. Also glassware available.

Excellent drinks shop with a good selection of beers, including De Molen, various Danish (Amager, Mikkeller) and some obscure regional microís. Enthousiastic owner, who was friendly enough to withhold Horal geuze for me when I emailed him. Also an online store.
Probably the best Mitra in the Netherlands, absolutely top 10 in beer stores in the Netherlands.

Ordered 24 Dutch beers from them a few days ago and the shipment arrived very quickly. I think the selection quite impressive and the prices very competitive. Will probably use them again soon.

I was on the search for Dutch Micros and I hit the jackpot here. Not to mention their vast selection of Belgiums, Germans, and U.S. beers. The staff was awesome talked to me about everything, gave tips, and suggestions. Also canít help but say he gave me three free beers and a glass from one of the breweries I bought beer of. I would definetly recommend this shop in a heart beat!

We (inhabitants of Eindhoven) are lucky to have such a beautiful store as this one in Eindhoven, the Netherlands
The owner of this store seems to improve his store every week, or better: with every shipment.
A large selection with the best beers from the Dutch beer culture are easily to be found here.
But his imports from other countries are a wonderful gesture towards the beer connoisseurs!
A nice and broad (more than 600 different beers on any day you visit this shop) selection of the finest beers.
Specialty are the Dutch and Belgian beers! (I am not going to name the breweries, but they are the best and finest breweries of The Netherlands and Belgium).
But thereís also a nice selection of beers from England (Fullers, Harveys, Meantime, Sam Smith, Whychwood), Denmark (Mikkeller, Amager Bryghus), Norway (Haandbryggeriet, NÝgne Ý), America (Southern Tier, Sierra Nevada, Port Brewing, Rogue) Italy, (Almond), etc.
The American beers are a bit pour, but this is absolutely not in any way negative! The selection keeps growing and I think it easily hits the 700+ beers already.
Ask the owner anything and he friendly helps you. He has great knowledge about what he sells so he can answer almost any question you have about the beers he sells.
Some items are a bit pricy, but thatís everywhere where they sell import beers.
I am sure whenever you pay Eindhoven a visit and go to the Mitra, you will succeed, even if it is one bottle you buy, you will succeed!
NOTE: A lot of Belgians come here to buy their (Belgium) beer here, because they are not easy to get in Belgium!

Cozy little store, but with a huge selection! Stuff from the Netherlands and Belgium, obviously, but also from the States, Germany, UK, even obscure things like Greek or Latvian pilseners. Very nice owner. Too bad itís a bit out of my way.

Great store, good selection and friendly staff. Mitra in general does have a good beer selection nowadays, but this one even is above par.
Lots of Dutch micros, good selection of Belgian, German and a Brittish brews when I was there.
Not near to the city center, actually even closer to the airport, but worth a stop if youíre near.

Thanks to SHIG for the card to this place. Drove up here today and was impressed. Itís located in front of a shopping center which can be confusing. Fairly large store with equally large wine and spirit section. Tons of beer available, English, Belgian, Dutch, and German, as well as some United States brews. Carried Westy 8 while I was there as well as the best stock of De Molen beers I have seen(although I have yet to visit the brewery.) The only downside I have to this place is the prices are slightly high. 7.99-12.99euro for 75ís. I still recommend it for itís selection.
