This is an interesting concept: bike shop meets cafe (that serves booze). I was slightly less surprised than when I first came across one of these, which was fairly recently in Denver. I donít quite understand the concept to be honest, aside maybe for being a one stop shop for hipsters. In any event itís kind of a neat set up, and the beer is cheap as hell. Pints of Death and Taxes are $4 normally and $3 during happy hour. I got a half pint since the bartender told me that it was the special Halloween edition that is slightly stronger (though I havenít been able to verify that such a beer actually exists) and I paid $1.70 plus tip. Not bad. Outside on the patio, which is the sidewalk, there are some small tables and there were plenty of people hanging out having a good time. If they had more than two taps Iíd probably stop back in with some friends or if I was showing some tourists around the town. If Iím on foot and by myself Iíll spend my time at some of the other places, or just exploring the city and place ticking.

Ride up and park your bike outide at the dedicated rack or bring it inside for a tune-up. Chill with coffee, tea, wine or local craft beer ($2/pt during HH). This weeks offerings were Speakeasyís Big Daddy IPA and Moonlightís Death & Taxes Schwarzbier - they could use a few more taps, but its a small joint. Friendly staff, hipster crowd, good value. Havenít tried the food, but it looked tasty. Unfortunately, we couldnít drink beer on the sidewalk patio due to local restrictions. :-(
