76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 16/20
Dive bar just off the beaten path in downtown Harrisburg. May be tempted to keep going but looks are deceiving. Once you adjust to the dim lighting and unassuming atmosphere, you will find a long bar on one side and tables across and in the back. Jazz and blues played in the background. Beer selection was limited to maybe 11-12 taps, but we were told they do a good job of keeping things rotated. They have a nightly $3 special in addition to their happy hour. The food is the main reason to try this place, especially if looking for BBQ. The ribs and brisket were freakin delicious and you get to choose from about 8 different sauces. Heard diners at another table raving about the wings. Prices were very reasonable. Prompt, friendly service.
