Excellent feel to this place, classy but not pretentious. Knowledgeable staff, good beer selection, well worth a visit!

Nice, upscale place with a very strong list of Belgians. Very cool ambiance, good service, very high prices. Didn’t try the food, but it certainly looked good. One my favorite stops in SF.

Close second to my favorite SF craftbeer establishment...the Toronado. Of course if you want food too...this is the place to go hands down. The food is fantastic. In addition to the nice cozy atmosphere...and the great beer selections...the staff here is very knowledgeable and very personable. I highly recommend a visit here when anywhere near SF.

I dig this joint. Went here for an early dinner with my girlfriend and her family. Really nice ambiance, definitely a classier joint more like CK in DC, Ginger Man in NY, etc. Really nice tap list and a DAMN good burger; everything the others had looked excellent as well. Definitely a must stop in SF.

bar in the mission. Great selection but it IS the mission so you’ve been warned. The wait staff is surprisingly present every time I went there. Prices were okay.

Visited during SF beer week. Smaller corner place that has a bit of a yuppy neighborhood feel to it. Bar is right up front and around the parameter of the bar is seating with a couple of booths in the back. I think I saw the capacity listed for this place at 49 on the wall. Nice feeling place, service wasn’t that great but also not horrible. Our bartender just wasn’t very friendly and seemed quite flustered. Draft list was mixed with a couple local, couple area standards, couple of vintage offerings…maybe due to an event, and some standard belgian offerings. Seemed like they had quite a bottle list, but I didn’t get too far into looking at it since the prices were quite absurd. Draft was also very high compared to other place we visited on our trip. Small menu, food looked decent, but nothing special. If in the area, it is worth a stop I guess for a beer but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back here.

The thing that popped out to me here was the service. Our server was extremely knowledgable and brought us several samples to try after talking to us for a few minutes to get a feel fro our preferred beer styles. Was exited to get to try the Pliny the Elder as I’m from NYC and it’s not distributed here. I mnust say the food we rodered was only okay, but that was not what we really came for. Overall some great beer choices, a little expensive but a good time nonethelesss!

Fairly small bar/reataurant with a generally good tap list. This place is pretty expensive, perhaps not by by San Francisco standards, but beers are generally in the $7+ range. Service is excellent, however. Tap list will include some gems/obscurities, but generally not much that isn’t to be found elsewhere. Don’t really need to go here again.

First visited during RBSG SF 2009. Revisited a handful of times since, most recently last night (12/22/12).

Nice, upscale-looking restaurant/bar but it’s pretty small and often times hard to get a seat. Service is generally nice and helpful. Nice place to hang out.

Beer list is pretty eclectic but there is always something good on the list. Tap prices are manageable, bottle and food prices are pretty steep.

They occasionally do brewery events which can be fun. They’re also located pretty close to the 24th/Mission BART stop. Check it out.

Great bar with reasonable prices. Service is excellent and they really know their beer styles well.
