Had a fun time at Monkís. Admittedly, I was a little buzzed this time of night after doing the rounds of a handful of establishments. Solid taplist and plenty of bottles to chose from. Got chatting to friendly folk at the bar and shared good banter. Staff were great.

Ottimo risto-bar con una cucina ricercata e buona per gli standard americani, bunoa scelta di birre servite con il giusto bicchiere.

I could live here. Not the most taps of any bar Iíve ever been at, but the quality of what they offer is off the charts. Lots of California beers, though could be even more. Super food, though itís definitely not cheap. Fun crowd. Smart staff. Total winner.

Been here three times now and been severely underwhelmed each time. Selection is almost entirely generic, widely available craft. In three visits Iíve only found a single interesting, rarely rated beeróand it was $8/8oz for an Oregon brewed smoked porter. Thatís not the worst: how about $12/6oz of Hitachino Nest Celebration? Insane. I wonít be returning; this place sucks. However, the server was really knowledgeable, Iíll give her that at least, though they screwed up my order.

Cozy little place, with dim lighting, a good beer selection, and exceptional food. We didnít have reservations, but only waited about 30 min to be seated. Easily found room at the bar and I tried a few Moonlight beers, as well as, some stuff from Evil twin. Very strong list of Belgians on tap and in bottle and prices can be a bit on the high side. I really liked the feel of this place. Warm and inviting with great food and good service. Definitely check this place out if you are in town.

Nice, upscale place with a very strong list of Belgians. Very cool ambiance, good service, very high prices. Didnít try the food, but it certainly looked good. One my favorite stops in SF.

Close second to my favorite SF craftbeer establishment...the Toronado. Of course if you want food too...this is the place to go hands down. The food is fantastic. In addition to the nice cozy atmosphere...and the great beer selections...the staff here is very knowledgeable and very personable. I highly recommend a visit here when anywhere near SF.
