Went there for the brewery tour - hidden away in part of an old ice cream factory. Tasting room is bare bones - just a bar and a bathroom. This is pretty much only here for the brewery tour. $5 dollars for the glass and samples of the beer, good deal. Staff are great people, really personable, enjoyable to chat with.

Tour at the brewery. Staff is excellent -friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about beer (good beer). At $5, a great value to sample beers in the tap room as well as during the tour. Selection is a little limited but I would expect that may change over time. Ambiance? It’s an old factory converted to brewing beer -- perfect for what it is. Very nicely done-- recommend that people visit and support Monocacy.

I did the tour a month ago, I think they only do it once a month. Nice bar area, everything is made from recycled goods. Brewer for Brewer’s Alley gave the tour, very informative. Facility use to be a ice cream plant. You get samples at the end and a small glass to take home ($5). Can’t wait to see MBC bottles in the store soon!
