Great selection, you can take singles as well. Wide array of beers/sake/ice ciders available. Friendly staff will talk to you and advise on new beers as well.
But the real kicker is the excellent deli there! Definitely worth grabbing some food there before a night of excellent beer!

Mr. G’s - has the most selection of any beer stores I am aware of in the Dallas area.
Nothing special about the food, but the service and knowledge of the staff is superb!
I frequent for that reason...

My new favorite beer store in Dallas. I can’t remember the last
time I bought +$60 at a Dallas store for my self, but I did
here. They had all the seasonals including SA Chocolate Bock,
Red Hook Winter and Double Black, Our Special (about 2 weeks
before anyone else), Bigfoot, Ted Fidy, de Proef beers, and
more. I plan on going back often. No food ordered when I was there.

This place has the best selection in Plano and possibly in Dallas. Always first to get desired seasonals.

Wow, I need to get up to north dallas more. Really good selection, for these parts. Didn’t try the food options but they did seem to have a deli or something over there. Lots of belgians, lots of american craft beers, good source for divine reserve. Folks there were really cool but I didnt’ pump them for beer knowledge.

The service was awesome, the people there have helped me pick out many different beers and they knew what they were talking about. The selection is great, I just wish their beer selection was as big as their wine selection. They have a deli inside as well that serves great sandwiches. Overall this is a one of my favorite beer stores that has enough beer to keep me busy for a while.

When I walked into this store, all I saw was a huge rom filled with wine bottles. I was greeted when I walked in and complimented on my Rahr & Sons shirt.....you can tell these are beer guys, not wine guys....but the beer is near the back....They have a good selection and a few beers I have not seen anywhere else....This store has a very nice appearance and a beer tasting bar set up that looks nice as well.
I started talking about beer with guy that seemed he has started learning about beer...which is good....but that do have employees that do know their beer......Not a bad place to stop....even have a large deli in the back....the best looking beer store I have been in.....Just wish they had a larger selection of beer instead of wine.

Just down the street from Central Market Plano, they usually have something in stock that you can’t find at CM such as Left Hands big 750ml bottles. Prices can be steep and they’ve yet to break six packs.

When you pull up to Mr. G’s Beverage Center & Deli in Plano, Texas you are met by a rather large store with ample parking and spotless glass windows that checker a colored brick exterior. Upon entrance, a staff member immediately asks if you require any assistance in a sincere and friendly fashion. The interior of this store is spacious and easy to navigate thanks to the well designed layout and easily visible signs. The wine selection is extensive and the rare wine room is particularly impressive. In the back there is a vast array of beers in both individual bottles, and six packs; both on dry shelfs and in coolers. There is even a deli in the rear of the store! I was very pleased when I came here looking for something special to commemorate my 1000th review and Robert the manager of the rare wine room procured a bottle of Fuller’s Vintage Ale 2000. Mr. G’s is truly a store that will take that extra step for its customers.

Not as good of a selection as I had expected by reading the reviews, but really good compared to most places. I would consider it to be a good selection. Some beers there I hadn’t seen around.
