I stopped in briefly on the walk up Lincoln to Half Acre. They had a bunch of stuff that I wanted to try but they (like most bars) dont do flights. The bartender was nice enough to sell me a couple of half pints. Plenty of locals (both good ones and bad ones) and nationally distributed stuff. Friendly staff, the prices were pretty good (though admittedly I think it was happy hour while I was there), and a friendly atmosphere (though the same cant be said about the chairs). Probably wouldnít go out of my way to stop here but itís worth a stop once. I didnít try the food but I hear itís good.

Mrs. Murphys is a neighborhood gem, with rotating taps, high quality food, and upscale ambiance. Stopped here on Tuesday for a whisky tasting series, and had a couple drafts of FFF Osti Helles. Gossamer, Reds Rye, a great craft selection overall. Plenty of Irish, German, and Belgian imports, and a nice selection of US craft as well. You can tell the list was compiled by a knowlegeable beer aficionado. Reccomend this place for a fancy date, or if you are on the way to a show at Martyrs down the street. They have a parking lot at the southeast corner of Lincoln & Byron.

surprising beer selection for the area (and for being an "irish pub" - shudder). draft founders and bells and a few other things... food was "upscale irish" which usually amounts to crap but here the food actually is better than pub grub. expansive interior, polished, clean, etc. really uncomfortable bar.
