Didn’t spend a ton of time here because the beer list is pretty crappy but I did talk to the bartender and check out the menus. They have a dozen or so taps but they’re all either Irish/English macro crap (Harp, Guinnes, or imitations like Killians) or they’re US macro crap like Bud Light and Coors light. I did however spot Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but that was about it.

The place is friendly enough but seems kind of like a local hangout for the local drunks. A dozen people at the bar but no one at any of the tables. Decent music, nice wooden interior, I was half expecting Norm to come stumbling in ranting about something.

Not a beer destination and I don’t think these guys serve food.

Not a destination for beer snobs but decent if you need a drink or are staying in the neighborhood. Has a decent "mainstream" micro tap selection including arrogant bastard, lagunitas, racer 5, speakeasy, etc. Impressive list of whisky. Pub food is average and slightly pricey. Service was fine. very sports bar and Suits after work place so ambiance was a little annoying.

The reason I added this Pub is because my hotel was located near the Financial District, just outside the gates to China town. For this area of downtown San Fran, they had some pretty decent brews on draft. Three different Anchor brews, Stone Arrogant Bastard, a couple beers from Speakeasy, one from Lagunitas all no draft and a couple nice bottles, including The Bruery Orchard White. A great selection of whisky and scotch, if you are into that; I am. They also serve pub food. Anyhow if your wife is out shopping and you are jonesing for a good beer; this is the best I could find in the area.
