Great pivo, even though I personnally prefer the filtered unpasteurazed version. But it’s nice to be able to taste the difference. Food is good, sold at low prices and service is efficient. Great place to relax after visiting the beer museum next door.

Big cozy brewpub in the centre of Pilsen, nice outside seating in the beergarden aswell. 3 taps, and a few bottles, but where here for the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell. Fast and friendly service. Fairly priced.

Visited on the way over to RBESG ’12 with erickok. Came here for the PU unfiltered, and were not disappointed. Sat on their patio/garden in the sun, with a good beer, some nice food, and a bottle of unfiltered to take home. Decent bar, although not very cheap for Czech standards. Nothing much in terms of beer selection.

Every RateBeerian comes here for only one thing: the unfiltered Urquel. And it is very much worth it (if you’re near Plzen at some time). We were drinking this goodness as our first and in the sun in the garden, which probably influnced my view to this place. But the food was decent as well, the prices low (for my standards; average for Czech standards) and the service fine. Add the unfiltered Urquel and you can’t go wrong.

This is the place to go to drink a Pilsner Urquell Kvasnicový, and one of the places where you can get a beer in exchange for the tokens you receive on the Pilsen underground tour or the visit to the brewery museum. Not a huge selection, apart from the seriously very good PU (other beers from affiliated breweries, like Master and Fénix). Dark wooden interior, but it is possible to sit outside on the covered porch or in the garden as well. Staff is attentive. Food consists of typical Czech dishes like goulash with dumplings, roasted pork knee, and the like - no fun for vegetarians.

Nice, cozy (i.e. small and a bit cramped) but almost always crowded restaurant. Very nice regional food but you know you’re here for the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell so drink until you can drink no more.

Why this place is on Ratebeer... The selection is very very poor, just some 5 bottles and the Pilsner Urquell Kvasnicový. The Pilsner Urquell Kvasnicový they serve does even taste different than the one at the brewery tour. On top of that we even got ripped off by the staff when we got the check. Do the brewery tour and stay away from this place. Was thinking of going to Uncle Paya, but after the visit here, we skipped it. A big pity!

Decent Pub, known for its unfiltered Pilsner Urquell, all toild i was no where near as impressed with the Pilsner as i was about the version in the brewery cellar, but otherwise this was a decent enough pub.

not much reason to make the trek to pilsen besides a couple awesome pilsners it seems. if you’re in the town, might as well stop by here for the unfiltered pils urq. it is good.

Traditional looking beer hall located in Plzen (and coincidentally across the road from hotel). Everyone knows that you head here for one thing – the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell yeast beer and it is certainly worth the trip! The other beers available are those owned by Plzensky Prazdoj (Master and the like), so you are best ordering another tasty unfiltered Pilsner Urquell. The food is top notch traditional Czech pub grub and is well recommended.
