Oh yeah, go here just to sit in the courtyard on a hot summer day drinking unfiltered Pilsner Urquell. This is the same beer as that which is served on the brewery tour, only it’s from the tanks and not from the wood barrel... but man is it delicious... one of the best pils I’ve ever had, different from the wood fermented version, and dare I say better? As far as the interior, it’s typical old wood, a lot of seats and benches, the food is above average but not the best we found in Czech Republic. You owe it to yourself to visit this place and drink the unfiltered PU before you hit the brewery tour, just to be able to compare them with little time inbetween.

This is the restaurant that serves the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell. They have the 2 Master beers, which are quite good as well. The food is pretty good too, so I recommend having a meal while you down your Urquell Kvasnicové. While you’re there, why not visit the adjoining brewery museum, it has lots of interesting, archaic brewing artifacts. Do not miss this place while in Plzen, it’s always worth a stop.

A large wooden decor restaurant and bar. Well worth the visit for the Unfiltered Pilsner and good Czech food. The service was very rushed though as all tables were full so definitely a popular place for locals and tourists.

A good, not too touristy or pricey pub in the center of town. Friendly, helpful service, nice patio. Enjoy Your Kvasnicovy Urquell there....!

A quite big bar kept in wood, and somewhat worn, with a medium sized seating area outside. The service was attentative - and best of all they got the unfiltered Urquell plus a couple of other beers worth a tick.

Restaurant atmosphere, and a nice one at that. Sits about 80 in many half-separated rooms. 3 beers from Pilsner Urquell. Very good food overall and especially an above average goulash. IMPORTANT NOTE: People go there to taste the unfiltered Pislner Urquell. True they have a Pilsner Urquell, but not the one in oak barrels that is totally different and only available at the brewery not far from there. If you want the real deal go to the brewery and taste the real thing. The version is oak barrel is totally different and doesn’t even look at all like the version served at Na Parkanu. The version at Na Parkanu is only slightly better than the regular Pilsner Urquell, not much there. Overall that’s a nice stop for a nice meal and a pint or two but not a place I’d go out drink to.

They do have the Unfiltered Urquell. Small and cozy with 80’s pub musik playing. Had a decent pork dish and a couple of Urquells. You only wanna go because of that 1 one beer. Ok place, though I already had the Unfiltered version in Prag at U Rudolfina the day before.

Traditional looking beer hall located in Plzen (and coincidentally across the road from hotel). Everyone knows that you head here for one thing – the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell yeast beer and it is certainly worth the trip! The other beers available are those owned by Plzensky Prazdoj (Master and the like), so you are best ordering another tasty unfiltered Pilsner Urquell. The food is top notch traditional Czech pub grub and is well recommended.

Just accross Marriott Hotel. I was there on Saturday evening and the place was half full, but still very smoky. Limited beer selection, but all three beers were new for me. Typical Czech food.

First rating: Very nice food but really did go there for the Kvasnicovy Urquell which is excellent. Make sure to visit the museum and then carry on to the brewery visit. Second rating: My third visit in four years. Has turned a bit touristy now it seems. More expensive and the food was worse, goulasch was quite crappy compared to older days. Also service was slower.
