Really packed when I visited. People must like their beer here. Tons of taps, many of which are local and or rare.

Good location in Greenwood, next door to Flying Bike, and walking distance from Chuckís on 85th. Iím very impressed with this place, and continue to recommend it to people who are visiting the Seattle area. Dozens of taps, with at least a dozen guest taps. Impressive food menu, that shys away from the fancy stuff, and sticks to what I enjoy, which is burgers and sandwiches and such. Good beer, good food, and a huge outdoor beer garden. Always enjoy coming here.

A nice large tap room with a large bar and some indoor seating but the kicker is a nice outdoor area. Server was happy to talk about beers and was prompt with everything. A great number of their own beers on tap and samplers were available as well. Food was very good with a variety of sandwiches available. Prices seemed fair for the area. A pretty great taproom.

Lively spot, packed on a Saturday night. Loud ambience. Maybe 10 of their own taps and another dozen or so guests. Service was solid.

An odd bistro split into a sports bar? One half has a huge projector the other is a large bar and I canít wrap my head around what they are trying to be. Trendy menu, but then a ton of burgers. Food was interesting, but overpriced for what it is was. Beer was all over the map, from bad to good and lots of selection. Guest taps and tasting flights make up for everything else. Lots of ticks, but nothing really worth the trip.

Great neighborhood brew pub with nice (if pretty standard) pub food. A great backroom for watching the big Seahawks games. Large and constantly changing house beer selection with some interesting guest handles as well. Beers are very hit or miss in my book but it is worth visiting.

Been coming here for years, and seen it change some but it is always consistent and solid. The addition of the outdoor area makes it even better when the weather permits. Draft selection these days is close to half house beers and half guest taps. Food is decent enough, but not the type of meal that will bring me back in often. Service away from the bar is usually friendly, but sometimes can be spotty on knowledge and/or attentiveness. Clean place and allows children.

I stop by this place on occasion after going to the zoo with my kid. Food is decent, atmosphere is chill. Taplist is split between Naked City beer and a half-dozen or so guest taps. I havenít ever been in the evening, but itís a nice, friendly, dark, quiet place in the afternoon. Iím a fan.

(Visited 09/2013): Naked City Taphouse is in a quaint neighborhood in the Greenwood area of north Seattle. It is located on Greenwood Avenue off N 85th, and street parking seems plentiful in the vicinity.

The interior features a long bar along the right side, with table seating opposite, plus a couple high tables near the front windows. The motif is wood and dark red, and there is a large mirror behind the bar behind the many taps. Artwork on the walls as well.

Naked Cityís tap totals over 20, with 10 of them being house beers. On my visit that included a few different IPAs, a Porter, Pro-Am Rauchbier, and a couple Pale Ales. All of the beers were above average, and they do flights. There are also guest handles from breweries like Ballast Point and Everybodyís Brewing.

Service on a slow weekend afternoon was good. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beers and attentive throughout my visit.

Food at Naked City is pretty good. I enjoyed my sandwich.

All in all this is a brewpub outside of downtown Seattle that is worth visiting.

Now this was a place I came to expecting a fairly good beer bar and nothing more. I was entirely conquered by this fairly feep, yet rather narrow bar with bright, white walls and an industrial look. The house beers which occupy maybe half the taps were generally very solid and the guests seemed to be a selection of the top breweries of the area. I did not even consider browsing through the bottle list, I could have stayed and enjoyed half of their taps no problem if I did not have other ambitions that evening. There was not much of an ambiance when I visited as it was late and almost empty on a weekday, but I remained entirely captivated. Itís also within walking distance of other good spots and that makes it an easy must in Seattle, perhaps number 2 behind Brouwers and ahead of Uber Tavern to me.
