(Visited 09/2013): Naked City Taphouse is in a quaint neighborhood in the Greenwood area of north Seattle. It is located on Greenwood Avenue off N 85th, and street parking seems plentiful in the vicinity.
The interior features a long bar along the right side, with table seating opposite, plus a couple high tables near the front windows. The motif is wood and dark red, and there is a large mirror behind the bar behind the many taps. Artwork on the walls as well.
Naked Cityís tap totals over 20, with 10 of them being house beers. On my visit that included a few different IPAs, a Porter, Pro-Am Rauchbier, and a couple Pale Ales. All of the beers were above average, and they do flights. There are also guest handles from breweries like Ballast Point and Everybodyís Brewing.
Service on a slow weekend afternoon was good. The bartender was knowledgeable about the beers and attentive throughout my visit.
Food at Naked City is pretty good. I enjoyed my sandwich.
All in all this is a brewpub outside of downtown Seattle that is worth visiting.

Now this was a place I came to expecting a fairly good beer bar and nothing more. I was entirely conquered by this fairly feep, yet rather narrow bar with bright, white walls and an industrial look. The house beers which occupy maybe half the taps were generally very solid and the guests seemed to be a selection of the top breweries of the area. I did not even consider browsing through the bottle list, I could have stayed and enjoyed half of their taps no problem if I did not have other ambitions that evening. There was not much of an ambiance when I visited as it was late and almost empty on a weekday, but I remained entirely captivated. Itís also within walking distance of other good spots and that makes it an easy must in Seattle, perhaps number 2 behind Brouwers and ahead of Uber Tavern to me.

The atmosphere and solid tap list of house and local brews make it worth the trip to Greenwood.

I enjoyed the ambiance and service from a lady bartender more, then their beer/food. Guest taps were solid, but pretty generic for a brewpub.

Popped in here for a few pints on a Thursday evening. Very relaxed and laid back atmosphere, friendly servers, and an impressive tap list - totally different than the nearby Brouwers at this particular time. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended.

Good vibe. Good service. The food is reasonable. Thereís a very nice selection of beer on tap. This brewpub puts out their own beers as well as putting on some very good taps from the area and the region. Very good spot to check out.

ok looking place, lots of gray IIRC, nothing fancy, industrailish I guess. Service was good, but I only had a couple beers I got at the bar. Happened to be a Silver City Tap takeover as part of thier anniversary celebration. Silver city crew was there handing out swag. must of had 10-15 of silver city on tap. I had the cask saison and Fat Woody Scotch ale. easy bus ride from down town.

Cool joint with their own beers which were ok to good and a bunch of guest taps. Atmosphere was pretty cool. Definitely worth a stop if youíre anywhere near by.

2010-07. Visited late on a Friday afternoon last July, I found this place to be dark, loud, and beery. 30+ on tap, 30+ bottles, just 3 of their own brews on tap which were pretty decent. The service was fine but they seemed a little out to lunch. Locals are abundant and rowdy, which makes for a better reputation. Would return but was disappointed specifically in the poor selection of NC brews. One of the few brewpubs Iíve visited that lacks a sampler tray offering.

Great lineup and they always tweet their tap changes...THANK YOU! Knowledgeable staff but not very chatty. Overall, one o the top 5 places to grab a beer in and around Seattle.
