A bit of semi-modern hipster feel, but comfortable atmosphere with plenty of locals. Appetizers we had were excellent, as was the beer selection. Service was good, even as they got busier. Pretty good value for the quality of both beer and food. Only quibble is beer flights are pre-selected, which is pretty lame for a place like this.

This a great place. Nice big roll-up windows that look out into the east village. Great tap list and friendly service. The food is kind of "hip" but always very good.

Bit of a hip place, so the risk that it’s full seems high. Great taplist with a small but good bottle list. Awesome food (pasilla steak fries rocked!) and good prices. Bit slow but nice staff.

Modern pub with a good bottle selection of some of the more expensive locals and imports. They have about 25 taps and do 3 sets of fixed flights where I had the "local one". A bit odd why you dont want to give the customer the best service and let them choose themselves.... They cost $9 for 4 glasses.

Neighborhood is a small bar which specializes in sipping whiskey and good beer. The ambiance is very hip, progressive and simultaneously comfortable. Tap selection was quite good with a few interesting CA beers I hadn’t come across yet. The bartender took excellent care of us. We ate only the onion rings as a snack, so I’m not really sure about the food food here. Cool place.

This beer bar is a wonderful find just outside of the Gaslamp District in San Diego. They were stocked with a great eclectic beer selection. I was able to tray numerous beers that are normally hard to find. I love the "No Budwieser" sign outside. Service was excellent, and the waitress was knowledgable. All beers were served in an appropriate glassware. I will definitely come here again when in the area.

Awesome place. Not to be missed while in downtown SD. The burgers rock 8.5 out of 10. Diego loves this place as it reminds him of the warm winds of Baja.

Went here for lunch. A cool vibe, very open and accessible. The cucumber in the water is odd. Nice beer selection. I had a nice pork belly sandwich. Good service. I wish we had places like this in Utah.

Great central location, just beyond the reach of your typical tourist. We visited mid-week for some lunch and a couple of beers. When we arrived it was quite, but it very quickly filled up. Interior is modern and pretty damn cool. They had a really solid selection of about 25 beers on tap with breweries like Alesmith, DFH, RR and Sierra Nevada on. You can never go wrong with Speedway on tap.... They also had a small selection of guest bottles to choose from. Food was brilliant - tasty burger, tacos and gigantic onion rings. A great place to eat and drink some quality beers.

Been there a few times and the beer selection is always interesting and good. Service sucked each time, they pretty much take your order, bring it to you and forget about you till you flag them down for another beer or your check. Food menu is small and hit or miss, I could recommend the burgers, fries and salads
