I don’t know which New Albanian location I enjoy more...this location is in downtown New Albany. There is a small bar, some indoor tables, and an outdoor patio. On Sundays, they have a special brunch which is awesome (the food is top notch!) and also a bloody mary bar. At this location they only serve their house beers - they’ve got about 8 regulars (which do rotate somewhat) and up to 5 or so "seasonals". Obviously there is a tremendous selection. I wish this place was closer to me because I’d come back every Sunday if I could.

Small place, full of tables as if it were a restaurant, but few people were eating when I was there. Bar was full of friendly locals, most table occupied by folks sharing tasting samplers, available five or seven beers at a time. About half of the beers were ones that weren’t available at the other location, so it’s worth trying both. Although I liked the other location better, I enjoyed this place too.

Went here on a day trip with my wife and enjoyed ourselves. Good draft lineup, and the food was good as well (although a little overpriced). Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, but they didn’t know shit about beer (good thing I do). Still, enjoyed ourselves. a nice brewhouse that’s worth checking out, but I’ll probably visit the other location next time (which, to our disappointment, doesn’t open until 3:00 on the weekend).

Not bad. Interesting set up. I like the outdoor patio and the beer selection is solid. Decent food, decent service.

I quite like this place. Quiet little place nestled downtown in a Louisville suburb. When I went, they had 4 seasonals on tap and 6-8 standard brews. Generally pretty good beer all around with a few really creative ones. Service itself was passable, but not great. Location was awesome. I wish I weren’t moving away, or I’d come here more often.

All of the pro communist bs aside, the food, beer and for the most part service were all outstanding.

Ambiance is clean, modern space mixed with some more traditional elements; a well done space. The dining room sits around fifty people, so it is pretty small, but there is an enclosed patio as well. Service was acceptable in time and knowledgeable of selection. Selection consisted of their beer, but NABC brews a nice variety of styles, and often does so well, so this is a positive. The food was very tasty and the menu diverse. The food is a little high, but so is the quality; you can get beer samplers for a dollar a piece, and a flight for five bucks with three-four ounce pours. Overall, a nice first trip, and a great space with no glaring holes.

My fiance and I consider this to be probably our favorite restaurant! The food is just amazing!!! It is not cheap, but you can count on specials like seared diver scallops and their great duck wings and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had along with their pom frittes - get them with the pesto dipping sauce! The beer list is house beers only and I know their list well, so I’m always more than happy. Note that this is NOT the former Rich O’s and some of the reviews here do not belong here, but on the Public House’s site. The picture is also of the Public House and not the Brewhouse as of 1/10/2012.

I didn’t have food on my visit, and was just trying a couple of beers. The menu did look fantastic, and I would like to try it on another visit. Our waiter was attentive, and chatted with us a little about the beer.

If you want a nice selection of gourmet dishes, you should choose this location over the Grant Line Road location. Great selection of eclectic foods - my wife had the Mediterranean plate and I had some spectacular barbequed duck wings. Selection of beers not anywhere near as good as the other location and menu isn’t kid friendly. A great stop for those who want some high quality food along with the beers but if you just want beer, you should probably just go to the other location as the selection here is somewhat limited.
