This place felt like home. Tiny bar (literally four stools) sits among scattered tables and couches. Real friendly and eclectic crowd. Great tap selection with everything served in the right glass at the right temperature. They also have a huge bottle list at pretty reasonable prices. The pizza is outstanding as well.

Small place and very comfortable feeling. Decent number of taps 20+ that are constantly being rotated. Very good bottle selection 150+. Staff is knowledgeable and generally willing to talk to you about most anything (if itís not crowded). The non-smoking section is a little small and located between the bathrooms and the front door which can be a bit annoying. Sportstime Pizza one door down is basically the same place as Rich Oís with more seating. The menuís are the same in both places. The pizzas are incredible but most of the other fare that i have sampled was somewhat lacking. Itís ok though the pizzas definatly will keep the food score up. This is a must if you are ever in the area.

Rode my motorcycle to this area to try two locations. This is off the main drag into New Albany and not easy to find even with good map. Small bar area that looks like it is attached to local brewers club. Selection was good and service was quick and knowledge of beers was good. Food menu was pub food from what appeared to be joint kitchen with next door pizza parlor. Pizza was good. Interesting local brewpub type location.

An immense selection of bottles from across the world. Not a very large establishment, but the small size makes the atmosphere more homely. There are couches to sit on and two small bars, along with a good number of tables. They had a large selection of beers on tap (~25) and perhaps 150 bottles to choose from. My dunkelweizen was served in the proper glass and our pizza was incredible. Food selection is not large, they also have sandwiches, salads, and pasta. I could stick with the pizza and be totally satisified. Overall, the best brewery restaurant in the Louisville area.

For this part of the mid-west,it couldnít get any better. Tap list is not huge, maybe 20,but all are always great beer,no sleepers here. I íd like to know where they get some of their bottles, great list! In house brewing brews every style they can, and are usually excellent. Knowledgable staff, and totally, dedicated publican,Roger.

My home bar. An unbelievable bottle beer list, and incredible draft selections. Knowledgable staff, great food, fantastic patrons. Get rid of the amateurs that show up on some weekends and Iíd give Rich Oís the maximum ratings across the board.

Early evening and dinner on a Thursday night. Glad I stopped in -- nice place with nice fairly mellow atmosphere. Great selection of beers, both in bottle and on tap. I stuck to the New Albanian brews, but there were a number of non-local beers I strongly considered.

As the two previous raters said Rich Oís is a must if you are near Louisville. They have an unbelievable selection on tap and in bottles, and many vintage beers and hard to fined beers. Bottles&growlers to go. Good pizza. Many special beer events!
