Amazing selection of rare and vintage beers. You would think the prices would be high for NYC, but they were actually better than my local store. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great Place!

Absolutely amazing selection. The front door of this place is always busy with various porters schlepping kegs and cases out for delivery. Place is like a small warehouse, tucked away in a grunge section just north of Chinatown. Incredible selection of singles. Incredible prices, stickered and priced like a garage sale. All six packs can be broken into singles as well, if you so desire, without extortionist rates but by actual 1/6 rates. The staff is friendly and will banter with you about sales and tastes of their buyers if you just grab one of them and ask for help. Hilton is the guy I spoke with, a fantastic, knowledgable young guy. Bulletproof glass on the cashier’s window adds to the charm

Great place was hard to leave. If I had a truck I might have tried to buy the place out. Selections are astonishing. Like crazy Eddie used to say, &quo;Our prices are insane!&quo;

What has been said, best prices in NY state I imagine and will necessarily have stuff you want to have whether you have 2000 ratings or 100. Probably not so many bottles (less than most of the big middle and west NY state stores probably), but incredible quality. There are still a few beers I expected to find like saison d’épeautre, but they weren’t to be seen in the other stores I’ve been to neither. I bought over 300$ without a double and I swear it’s cheap.

Could be my favorite beer store of all time. Almost any beer that’s available in NY can be found here. Harry is one of the guys that run the place and can help you (do we really need help finding beer though?) Great prices and some rare gems if you look hard. Not far from Blind Tiger and even closer to d.b.a.

This is a very good place. Humble surroundings. Nice cellar room, quite dark with a fantastic selection. Service is excellent. The best place to shop for beer in Manhatten.

This place is Freaking Amazing, and I’m NOT Shitting You!
It’s pretty warm in this joint and many of the bottles are dusty, but they selection is an absolute cream dream! Southamption, Victory, DFH, Fantome, Cantillon, Westy, whatever Unibroue 10 & 11…. What do you want? – Because they are most likely going to have something you desire!

If you go to Manhattan and you don’t make it by this store… then your not a true Beer Geek! – It’s right in the Middle of ChinaTown… grab an authentic bite to eat somewhere as well and it will help take your mind off the $100+ you just spent on Amazing Beer! – GO!

Couple some of the best prices I have found anywhere with an extensive selection and a helful and knowledgable staff and it adds up to the finest specialty beer store I have ever seen. The prices are far lower than outside the city which was not what I had expected. Name something not on the shelf and they go and check to be sure they don’t have it, we were never told &quo;No, we don’t carry that&quo; Worth seeking out if you are in Manhattan.
