Beautiful Brewery, nice, informed waitstaff. TAKE THE TOUR! I personally feel New Belgium Beers are OK, not great, but the tour and their story are great. They walk the walk in terms of being green. They fit in really well with thier surroundings in Colorado.

Do you like Belgium but think it’s too old? Then this is the place for you! History lesson: Once upon a time, the two founders whose name were something like Jeff Lebowski and Kim Jordashian went to Belgium to get hammered on Westy 12 and such. They got really fat and grew spare tires, so they decided to make a beer modeled on the trappist brews called Fat Tire. The beer was recognized as the world’s foremost Belgium Tripple. They went on to brew more beers including La Folie (freedom speak for "the foliage") and Eric’s Ale after fellow notable Coloradan Eric Cartman. Ok, enough false history. Heeeeeyyyy this place is fun! There are a number of beers on tap, solid 80-90th percentile stuff and a few standouts. Every single frigging drunkard in Fort C. comes here. I had just finished putting devices in dog urethras and needed a break, and something that didn’t remind me that I was covered in urine (so Bud Light would be bad). New Belg hit the spot. By "the spot" I mean my liver, which was pounded by an onslaught of alcohol as I furiously tried to tick everything. It was fun. There’s also some weird disc bocce outside. If you’re in town and you don’t go here, it’s seriously time to reevaluate your priorities in life, chiefo.

This is a large and beautiful brewery with a lot of cool and original decorations. Some of the drinking area spaces are narrow and constricted...which is strange given the overall size of the place...so it was tough to move around the Sunday we visited. I take a lot of craftbeer place pictures and got some of my nicer ones here vs a couple of dozen other places visited over the 4 days of the GABF. If you love NBBC beers than this place will be a slam dunk for you...but I find their beers average to good...occasionally very good...but overall there was something a little underwhelming for me when I visited here...and it could simply have been the high level of competition in the area I was comparing them to. If you are looking for a nice brewery to visit...especially if you already know you like their beers...don’t miss this...but if you are looking for great beer in the region...there are many other places I would recommend first.

Quite the tourist destination and production overall... best if you visit with that in mind to calibrate expectations. We did the tour which was well hosted -- mainly focused on story telling and history of the company if that’s what you want. I was surprised at the scale of the operations here, but maybe shouldn’t have been. Eye opening to see the major commercial operation.

Enormous place! Super friendly staff, lots of great beers on tap and lots of nice people to talk to. We had some food from a couple of food trucks so we didn’t actually eat AT the brewery, but we stayed all day.

We had a tour all booked but were, sadly, just a few minutes too late to make it. But NB hooked us up proper with some free pints as compensation. Almost enjoyed this more than I would the actual tour, as we got to belly up to the bar and soak in the crowded but relaxed atmosphere (which seems to be an apt description of many of the places we visited in FC). Big, smooth-running operation. Despite the activity, service was unharried and responsive. Loads of cool stuff on tap, including some nice one-offs like the Mint Mild. Great place, hope to do the tour sometime.

Visited April 6, 2014.
Got there on an arranged bus ride, located a bit outside and at the time were also some road work being done. Seems to be parking available.
Nice looking place, nice tap room, very cool tour with plenty of info, also first time I got to grab a bottle from the bottling line and drink right there.
Good info from the staff when asking about the beers.
Cool barrel room where we got to sample Lips of Faith Pre-Sour Oscar and the sour version La Folie.

Ambiance is great, classic Fort Collins active feel. Service is wonderful, but my one complaint is that they do not have a system for giving you tasters in any sort of order or even a designated taster tray. Selection is all of their beers, nothing more, nothing less. Best prices you will find for New Belgium beer, growlers are super cheep even for other breweries. Tasters are about normal price (1.50 for normal, 2.00 for Lips of Faith). Overall, Love this place, the tours are the best I have ever been on (6 drinks in 1.5 hours), love the staff.
