Best time to visit is when the reds are not in town because otherwise parking is $5. Nice terrace with view over Cincinnatti downtown. Beer selection is limited but the seasonal black beer ( Schwarzbier) was excellent. The food is reasonable but the smoking was a negative. The german music in the main hall was not our taste.

Place is a big beer hall, with loud polka music, and nice German Style decor. Parking is a little difficult and will run around $5. My biggest beef with this place was the amount of smoke (I didn’t know you could smoke at inside restaurants still). Busy for a Saturday.

This place is a traditional German beer hall. Big outdoor seating area and communal seating.the beers are all German styles and are solid examples. You won’t find much ground breaking brewing, but thats not what beer hall beer is for. This is a very fun place with good German food and beer.

They got their 3 or 4 standard beers plus the one that is brewed just for that month.

visited here few years ago. very loud and busy when we were there. beer garden was nice. food was very good as were the litters of beer. having been to hb in munich this is a cool replica.

This place is solid all the way around. Nothing stands out as spectacular, but it’s good, food, good beer, good service, and a good atmosphere. A good place to go with groups too.

Finding this place was a bit tough as it wasn’t where the GPS said it would be. Finding a place to sit down inside was just as tough as it was packed late on a Friday night. Luckily a nice couple gave up their spots at the bar for us so we were able to eat and sit, which was nice after walking close to 30 miles the last two days. The place reminds me of every other German style brewpub/restaurant I’ve been to. Large, wooden, festive, german garb worn by all and large pints of lager with nary a hop in sight. The food was good, the beer was okay and the service was great. As a personal aside, I hate valet parking and it’s the only option here. I can park my own vehicle and don’t want anyone else in it. Perhaps it’s a way to get people from parking in their lot and heading elsewhere.

Really fun spot - big German food & beer drinking hall, oftentimes with live oompah music. I stop everytime I’m in the area.

Nice beer. Your classic German beer place with nice selection of food and beer. The day we were there a nice group of people around the bar. Food is good German brewpub fare. Will stop each time I’m through the area.
