This is a nice beach community bar. The selection was very good and the staff was friendly.

Great selection on tap. Hot bartender, but the atmosphere of the place leaves a bit to be desired. Pizza didn’t look good and if you are there at the end of the night, they will give it away to have the next morning. We passed. Still not far from OC PP , so worth a stop over if in the area.

Right out of the 50s/60s - except there’s good beer. Pizza you design yourself. See the pie spin in the air. Lots of taps. Lots of bottles. The pizza guy came over to consult several times, and he brought stuff to put on to enhance the flavor. Beers? 3 dor 4 I hadn’t rated. At least. Great service. Venue is open front with high tables and stools. Excellent. Parkiing can be a problem. Surfer dudes abound.

Deliscious pizza and odds and ends, fantastic beer selection constantly changing around local brews at great prices. I had a Pizza Port beer on cask that was not even supposed to be released yet. Great place, right on the beach in a very fun area.

Joint is full of hippies. Lots of bum locals that were chased off the beach when the alcohol ban went into effect. Very earthy types here. Pizza is very good, order by the slice. Very hidden little beer joint that doesn’t get a lot of press but has some good bottles (FW 12 was only $20 back then) and the tap list rotates and is always worth a stop in when visiting OTM in OB. Checkit, checkit often, hoepfully when PP OB opens it won’t drown this place out of business, but I think there’s enough hippy love to support 2 beer’n’pizza joints.

Keep in mind the context - this is a beer bar that happens to service pizza by the slice. The location was nice as far as proximity to the beach, but dear god don’t come here in a decent car with decent attire. In fact, many patrons were missing items of clothing - shirts, shoes, etc. Beer selection was among the best in San Diego. Hands down, excellent. Actually it was almost too good - too many of the rare, limited release high ABV beers. This is a non-air conditioned pizza joint, it’s hot, and everything is high ABV and/or very hoppy. Oh well, we had local hoppy beers and passed on the rare stuff. Pizza wasn’t anything special. Wasn’t bad. Selection of pies for your slices was good though. Service was alright. Very inexpensive.

Cool little spot. The food’s not half bad and they always have a solid beer selection. I wouldn’t make a trip just to go there but it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Hey Fantome, Cantillon, Russian River..in OB, that works. Pizza’s pretty tight as well...the Ron Jeremy was tasty.

Pizza and beer. What goes better together then those two things? Nothing I tell you, and this place is as simple as that. Of course only serving beer, they have an awesome selection of tap and in bottles. Including great west brew and some Alaskan beers on tap. The handmade pizza is incredible. And you’re with in shouting distance of the ocean.

This place ROCKS and it is my favorite place to be when I visit the surf soaked city of OceanBeach. The tap selection is always insane, with hard to find breweries like Nimbus, Mendocino, Angel City and Mission Brewey along with tons of other outstanding breweries. The pizzas are all kick-ass with the Ron Jeremy, (i call it the John Holmes, personal preference) being my favorite. You can also enjoy a miriad of 42 different vintage Nintendo 64 video games on the big screen, where else can you find that and enjoy a killer beer? The wait-staff is second to none and always are on top of empty beers ready to fill you up again. The standout people are of course the one and only Johhny Henry with his encyclopidic knowledge on every beer in the universe and his evil counterpart Miles slinging the dough. Just watch out if you go to Newport on Halloween, there may be a manic in very obscene short shorts who may try to touch you in an inappropriate fashion, visit at your own risk and try drinking something in the 11-12% neighborhood~
