Solid selection of stuff, heavy on the regionals. Only a handful from RI. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth a look.

A large liquor store with a great selection, including plenty of Belgians, a good selection of Spanish ciders and many local and regional beers. The staff was great and their two dogs quiet. An essential beer store stop in RI.

This is why I love Ratebeer. Chose Nikkiís as my retail stop during a New England road trip based solely on reviews here. Couldnít have been more spot-on! Filled up with 2 cases of singles, primarily regional goodies not available to me at home. They also have a kick-ass lineup of harder to find imports. Thanks fellow Ratebeerians for a solid tip!

Update: The new place is bigger and brighter, which means more selection. Theyíve added a "vintage room" where they have aged beers, and I picked up a 2011 Newport Storm anniversary beer. Lots of local, large foreign selection, plenty of US. Good prices. Sole employee was nice and gave me advice on a route to NH. Plenty of parking to tje side. Still a premiere stop.
Iíve got an emotional attachment to this place as I went to Providence College nearby, and as this place shares a shopping center with my regular grocery store, it was also one of my regular liquor stores. The ambience is fairly typical strip mall. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beer selection is great (and certainly better than it was when I was a local). Tons of foreign stuff, American micros and of course local stuff. I easily found about 2 cases worth of stuff, and I could have bought more. A small smattering of beer, sake and cider. Some older stuff also that I didnít expect to find. The prices here are great. Theyíre not too bad on their own, they offer 10% off of a mixed sixer and 20% off of a mixed case. Parking is no problem. Note that they are planning on moving downtown as theyíve outgrown this space, but Iím not sure of the timing. They said this was the best bottle shop in Rhode Island, Iím inclined to agree.

This is a pretty excellent beer store. Great selection. Clean and well appointed. Singles of everything. Friendly service. Thereís not much not to like about this place.

This place is a good destination. Thereís a lot of good stuff here, including rarer Belgians (only the third place Iíve ever seen Cantillon St Lamv) and rare Scandanavian brews, along with a broad selection of regional and local micros. The 10% sixer discount is great, as the prices are rather fair to begin with. Will be back again and again.

Stopped by here on the way to my Hotel in downtown Providence. Nice selection. I walked out with over a case of singles I have not had before (which is getting harder and harder for me to do these days!). I happened to come during beer tasting night and they were opening up some decent beers to try to boot!

This place stocks pretty much everything that is available in RI. Great service, reasonable prices, not much more to say. The place to hit for take home beer in Providence. For some reason, the scoring system will not let me enter a value score. This is easily a 9/10 in that category.

If you are anywhere in Providence, RI. donít pass up a chance to stop here. The owner (at least I think he was) was very friendly and helpful. He stocks lots of harder to get Imports and nice local brew from Newport Storm to include the Limited Release. The brews are organized by world location. They give discounts on Mix a Six and on a Mix Case. I went with the 20% off mix case. If I am ever in the area again. I will for sure stop again.
