Located only a few blocks from Whole Foods Ė Vienna, Normís is another great beer store. Their selection leans more towards American micros then Whole Foods and prices tend to be a bit lower. Case discounts are available, including mixed cases. Norm is a great guy and I very passionate about good beer and wine, speaking of wine, Norm also carries a great selection of small Vineyard wines, especially from Virginia. Oh yeah, Normís also sells beer by the keg and special orders are possible, just this past fall they had at least one keg of Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale.

Doesn't have the wide selection of rarities, trappists, and varied Belgians and such as Fresh Fields does, but has a wonderful selection of micros and a still-impressive import collection. Also, Norm's gives 10% discounts for mix-and-match sixers and cases. If you're buying in quantity, this is the best place in the metro area.
As an aside, just a few doors up is Cenan's Bakery, which has excellent breads. Highly recommend the Olive Sourdough.

Locals are lucky to have Normís and Whole Foods Vienna within 3 blocks of each other. Go to Whole Foods for the Trappists, but stop by Normís for the wider selection of micros, particularly Virginia ones. And whichever one you hit first, leave room in your trunk for the second stop.
