96 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 tiggmtl (117) Vancouver, British Columbia | October 3, 2005 Beautiful brewpub with the brewery front and centre. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and certainly went the extra mile to make our time there enjoyable. With nine beers on tap from a rotating selection of styles. Food was very enjoyable. Decent prices. Certainly the top brewpub in the city. | 90 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 18/20 jrallen34 (271) Chicago, Illinois | March 31, 2011 Stop 4 on the pub crawl, a pretty good place to finish. First off inside is hilarious because its all those pansy type colors that are on the bottles, pink, tangerine, weird browns, not putting it down actually like it, just kind of funny. The selection of the beer is decent, just all Norrebro, about 10 taps then a of special release beers that are very good. Our server was very patient as by this time I was little drunk and pushy and kept telling him to impress which he did by pulling out rarer and rarer stuff, like a third of a barrel productions. The beer was good, not great, although a couple were oustanding. The best part about this place is that you can by bottles to go for about one third off, so its worth just going to get bottles.
A stop in Copenhagen for a couple, but mostly buy some special releases for less than they cost to drink there and save them for the trip home.
| 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 YogiBeera (109) Hamburg, Germany | April 26, 2006 Awesome place. I love the clean and simple interior which is quite tastefull along with their sub branding which is visible on every little detail. Very friendly and helpful service. Quick, with a lot of knowledge. The food was outstanding for a brewpub. The selection including the North Bridge Extreme on tap was great and very enjoyable. The bar downstairs was nice too. All in all a top notch place for me. | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 18/20 esp0r (35) , Norway | July 12, 2011 Very nice place. I enjoyed both a nice 3 dish with beer menu in the restaurant and some beers afterwards down in the brewpub. Dinner with beer menu is very nice. The beers suited the food well and the waitor always could answer when i asked details about the beer i got, down to what hop used in the beer. Good selectiion of their own beer, but they have an impressive list to take from too. Only thing to complain a little about was the cheesy cover band that entered the brewpub stage quite late. I really hope i can go back here some time | 90 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 mkobes (52) paramus, New Jersey | July 1, 2006 Great place. We stopped here while in Copenhagen. Friendly staff. Great beer selection. Quality beers. Interior was clean and simple I didn’t get any food here, but we did look at the menu to see what they served, and it looked very good. We even had the chance to meet the brewer and drink some beers with him. Very nice place. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 18/20 Christian (197) Odense, Denmark | April 8, 2006| Updated April 4, 2011 Over the course of many years now, I have had a couple of disappointing beers, but many more great beers. Staff has been very busy when I have been there, but usually good nonetheless. I love how the whole brewery is within the pub, not just a few fancy copper kettles. I have had lunch here many times, just the right balance between fancy and simple. The evening set menu, five courses with six beers is simply awesome, and at 500 Danish Kroner pretty cheap for what you get.
On top of that there are the special events which are usually some of the best beer events of the year in Denmark. | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 14/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 16/20 simoneopazz (27) , Italy | July 6, 2009| Updated April 4, 2011 optimal beer to the thorn. much beautiful one l’ atmosphere with the alambicchi for the production of the beer | 86 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 18/20 Putte (3) , Sweden | February 23, 2005| Updated April 4, 2011 I like this place, cousy atmosphere, frienly staff, exellent beer | 86 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 17/20 deyholla (200) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma | July 4, 2012| Updated April 4, 2011 Stopped in twice during my time in Copenhagen. A really nice space with a more high end seating upstairs and a nice bar in the basement. Service was good as was their recommendations. Taps seemed to rotate pretty frequently and beer is overall solid. Food was quite solid on my visit and while expensive was worth it. | 86 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 17/20 fiulijn (281) Malmö, Denmark | October 3, 2005| Updated April 4, 2011 Quite cold place, but the selection is impressive for an European brewpub, both for the number and the quality. The food as well is very good (but pricey). |
