Stopped here for dinner on a Saturday night, was quite lucky to get a table because the place is quite small and the wait can be long (plus except from a small bar, there are no real waiting options, so consider someplace else if your party has 5 or more people). That being said, once I was seated I got quite good service, constant attention. The prices I found quite high, even for the center of Brussels. I know places in north america where you can get Cantillon for almost the same price, only here it is made just down the street. The food was tasty and reasonably priced for city center levels. The selection here is really good. You can tell it is handpicked and quality selection, as you don’t have ot sort through hundreds of pages of Belgian swill, here you can almost point a beer randomly on the menu and get something good. I also really liked the decor here, it is kind of old style but well lit and cozy. I would definitely return.

If you want to enjoy some nice Belgian food together with a good beer, this will be a good place for you. Generally the staff is super friendly.

Wow! This 22-seat restaurant packs a punch. All plates are cooked with beer and the food is world-class. Couple that with a small yet impressive beer list and you have this fine establishment, mere blocks from the Grand Place. The staff are eager to serve and keep beers on your table. Come early or expect to wait for a table.

Fairly small and closely packed place centrally located and conveniently close to Moeder. The beer list isn’t huge but definitely quality with a decent selection of seasonal Cantillon when I visited. Who can complain at drinking Fou with dinner? Good food and friendly service. Will certainly return.

My favorite place in Brussels. We were there for 4 or 5 days and liked it so much we ate here twice. The food is amazing. The service is spectacular. The servers clearly know and love the beer they serve. Great bottle list, plus fresh Saison Dupont on tap, which goes great with just about anything. It’s a smallish place, but cozy and comfortable once you get a table. If there was a complaint it would be that you’re barely a block or two removed from the most touristy parts of the city, but that’s a minor quibble when the place is so great. I can’t really recommend this enough.

Cosey place in the heart of Brussels. Probably for some a bit too cosey, since there is not much space. We arrived early which was a good thing. The fact that people wait for a table s mostly a sign, the food is pretty good and it was. Very friendly staff. Know their beers. Great beer list, great food. You might catch some rare beers as well. Especially the meat is fantastic. If you really like vegetables, than this is probably not really your liking.

Nice small restaurant in the heart of Brussels city. Always very crowded, so it can take a while before you get a table. But no worries, there’s Saison Dupont on tap. Friendly service. Food is really nice. Had the rabbit with geuze-sauce and ’stoemp’, but their carbonade is really nice as well. Highly recommended!!!!TO EVERYONE VISITING BRUSSELS, give me a heads up, I’d love to trade/share some bottles!

The best part was when the Dali-esque waiter snapped at us for insisting we pour our own bottles. "You’re the geeks" became a classic line the instant he let it go. Our worries about this faux pas dissolved a few minutes later when we saw him glug-glug-glug a yeasty pour for another patron. Most of Belgium, it seems, does not know how to carefully pour Belgian beer without mixing in the yeast. Still, the people in charge here know their stuff better than most. The setting is cozy, classic and intimate, and the selection of beer is well curated. I highly recommended a visit to this gastropub while in Brussels for beer.
