Of all the Nuggets I have been to, this one probably has the best beer selection. They have a large selection of 22oz bottles and six-packs. This is probably the second best place in Davis to buy beer, behind The Davis Beer Shoppe. I would say it’s a little better than the Co-op. They have a new employee in the beer section, Don. He’s a knowledgeable guy who used to run the bar at Woodland’s Tazzina Bistro, which had great beer on tap.

They typically have a decent selection of beers for a grocery store.

A wall of beer. Some sake. One of the better places in Yolo County (xpt no mixsix). So why now, after so many years of not adding this place? Cause they now have been consistently getting Deschutes and Beer Valley in addition to the standard, common rarities. Today they had Chico Estate Harvest Wet Hop Ale. That’s impressive.
